Overview: All Eneloop batteries 2005-2024

More pics please. :stuck_out_tongue:

Love seeing massive amounts of eneloops all over.

I can not wait, I need more Eneloops, are never enough eneloops…

No… I did not.

I just opened the pack 2-minutes ago.
Good point about the logo facing front.
Microcenter is a very reputable store (they’re a lot like Fry’s).
Maybe some 3rd party is repackaging the batteries for the U.S. Market?
The labels are very precisely applied.
I see a sort of indented watermark on the bottom of the label: 13 - 12M2 if I’m reading it correctly.
The batteries/labels are pretty much flawless. If they’re not legit, they’re supreme quality bootlegs.
I’ll take pictures of the batteries themselves and post them later tonight.

Are the graphics on the front right of the package supposed to be cut-off like that?

No… they’re not cut off at all. It’s simply the camera angle.

I guess that has rubbed off on me, because when I place eneloops in my charger, I always feel compelled turn them all slightly so the logo is showing. Or maybe that’s just my OCD.

Comparison.

The flash on my phone was blurring the positive end picture, so I’m trying to illuminate them with a
light and snap the pic at the same time.

Left side… is a “Chibi-M-eloop” that came with Eneloopy.
No, the right side top isn’t whiter; they’re identical, it’s the camera.

“Chibi-M-eloop” on bottom

I think they’re real.
Well, I’ve charged more than my fair share… time to stick them in the LaCrosse and see what happens.

A 1A discharge test should settle the issue. Even higher would be ideal, but you’d need access to a hobby charger or something similar.

Hi,

I’m new to Eneloops… I just bougth a first series of 4th gen at nkon.
So far I love them, and also the design of the standard white ones.

While browsing this topic I saw pictures of the different special editions that where issued in the last years.
I would like to know where I can order special editions to ship to Europe. I saw the Tropical ones at nkon.nl.
I’m not fond of buying these off eBay…

I’m not sure if these are still available somewhere, but I would love to get a set of AA uomo tones!

I stopped buying eneloops off ebay or chinese websites once I saw a reputable member was offering them here. (ChibiM) I prefer to have to pay a bit more (shipping to my country is expensive) and have the peace of mind of having genuine cells right out of Japan!

Maybe he can get them for you larry. And btw, bienvenu!

@MountainKing : French is actually not my mother’s language, as I live in the Dutch speaking part of my country
But thank you for your welcome!

I also prefer buying from a reputable member. On eBay you often don’t know what you buy.
I’ll try to contact ChibiM soon!

I’ve got a C-9000 and hundreds of eneloops from a number of years but never knew the production info. This will help for longer trips when I want to take the fresher cells with me. Such a pain when the MAHA is only a 4 cell charger and I use so many. Many Thanks for the info.

Welcome to BLF , the source for flashlights and related stuff.

Thanks Chibi …am still reading.

Thank you, lots of good information in this thread

What do you guys think of Turnigy LSD NiMH cells?
AAA: Radio Control Planes, Drones, Cars, FPV, Quadcopters and more - Hobbyking
AA: Radio Control Planes, Drones, Cars, FPV, Quadcopters and more - Hobbyking
If I order 8xAA + 8xAAA the price shipped to my door is $32USD
If I order 8xAA + 8xAAA Eneloops UTGB (1900mAh) from Amazon.fr the price shipped to my door is about $48USD

I’m tempted to buy the Turnigy but I’m hesitating.

Stick to Eneloops. Trying to save money only costs you more money in the end.

Even considering the fact that the Turnigy batteries have 20% more capacity?

I’m no Eneloop expert, but they are low discharge batteries. They keep their charge year after year. Normal NiMh batteries don’t, they drain heavily over time by themselves. I don’t know anything about those Turnigy batteries, I never heard of them, but I don’t think they compare with the knowledge and research of Panasonic.

The Turnigys are also LSD, but they dont hold up to the Eneloops in current delivery IIRC. Advice I was given by the members here some time ago was to just skip the Turnigy and go with Eneloops.
