Any Chart for Capacity ?

Is there any available charts for voltage vs capacity for the various cells sizes ?
Ex.: NiMH - 1.0v=Low - 1.25v=Med - 1.42v=Full etc…

Capacity @ voltage will remain the same for different cell sizes. It’s different chemistries (even slightly different) which may have different profiles.

Are you interested in different sizes (AAA, AA, C, D, etc) or different chemistries (NiMH, NiCad, LiCo, LiFe, etc)?

Basically I need it for NiMH, LiCo and alkaline. AA, 14500 and 18650

As you should be aware by now if you can operate Google, LiCo can be somewhat tricky and/or controversial. Alkaline is probably linear, but I’ve never cared. As I already told you, 14500 and 18650 should be similar as long as we are talking about the same chemistry.

Remember, load voltages and resting voltages represent different things entirely.

I was planning to link you to this thread at CPF, but then I ran into this other thread which is really short and you should probably read first.

Here’s a thread by HKJ (this is linked in Silverfox’s thread). OK actually HKJ’s data gathering looks really good and well presented. I’ve probably seen that thread before, but to be honest I don’t remember it and am glad I took a look!

Personally if I measure a LiCo battery at rest and it’s under 3.7v I charge it.

You might be better off if you mentioned exactly what you wanted to do!

Thanks, that was exactly what I was looking for.
I just wanted something as a quick guide to determine if the cell needs charging or if it charged properly after a charging session.
