I still didn’t the replacement yet…

“Perfect” spot and “perfect” reflector… grrrr.

Lens is dirty, reflector is dirty and spot is horrible. Led is centered correctly. I think problem is reflector profile. It doesn’t want to work correctly with any led (XM-L2, XP-G2) even with thin isolution gasket.

What I should to do? demand new one? or for refund?
At now Tmart offer me $14 refund, but as you konw, is impossilbe to buy reflector for HD2010 so money don’t give me any profits, I still will have bad flashlights with horrible spot.

What distance? Good throwers naturally have a hole in the beam inside a certain distance corresponding to the hole for the emitter.

Distance aboout 1,5m.
I had a lot of throwers, small sun T08s, other HD2010s and I know in small distance ~20cm is a hole in spot.

My HD2010 form post Tmart Group Buy - Closed is great with perfect tight spot.

But tangsfire is awful

after copper braiding springs, and using thick wires from the driver to the led, my tangsfire seem to be at around 4.5A, at least for the first seconds, didn’t test longer.

I received the replacement light and it is better than the first. This driver draws over 3A at 4V on my bench power supply, and they used a much thinner spacer under the reflector making for a tighter, cleaner hotspot.

I got exactly the same update, 9:32pm. Probably just logged the shipping container's arrival.

Mine finally updated too, june 6th 8:40pm…in Sweden. I wonder when I’ll get it, my original order date is 3/22.

Mine hit ISC NY June 5th. and holding. Just got email notification today.

+1 notification here too... Talk 'bout slow boat from China. Been lifting my whiskers to piss while waitin' on this one.

I received my replacement last week: quality is worse than first one that I received, LED is old XM-L (first one was XM-L2) but the driver is correct
They used silicone adhesive under emitters on both of them :expressionless: pain to remove…

Received mine yesterday too… same here, correct driver and old LED :stuck_out_tongue: oh well…

Arrived at my P.O. an hour and a half ago.

Finally got my light yesterday. Haven’t really inspected it yet since I’ve lost the excitement for the light but the Oring at at the body tube to head was broken. I’ll need to find a replacement for that…once I feel like working on this light.

Originally ordered 3/22 and finally recieved what I ordered 6/14, 8 days short of 3 months.

Glad to see some of you getting replacements, still waiting on mine, was starting to think it was all bs

My replacement came in yesterday, light has a xml in it and a 17 mm size driver. Draws 1.5 amps at tail on high , light is black in color and has Cree xm- lt6 written on it . Light is noticeably less bright than the 1st. Whines bad on high , looks pretty nice though, emitter is glued in with some rubbery clear stuff, maybe I’ll try my luck with my first mod attempt :Sp

Mine is broken now. Changed wires from driver to led, and that improved the amperes.
The new wires were much stiffer though. yesterday when i was going to try my new 26650 in it, nothing happened. After some troubleshooting i saw that the transistor (?) Right between the 2 led wires had come almost loose from the driver board, due to the stiffness from the new wires, “bending” the transistor off the board.
I don’t think it’s repairable, but haven’t tried anything yet.
Thinking about what i should replace it with, another east 092 driver, or perhaps i should try stacking a couple extra 7135 on a 2.8A driver.
