Father's day Group buy on Sunwayman V11R is ON !

With the extender, for $50 count me in. Without the extender... I'm a definite maybe.

I would be willing to compromise with a discount on the extender.

I don’t really need one, but AA compatibility would be nice.

Great prices guys!! Best I've seen! This is not a trustfire light and easily worth the $50

I just got a V11R from Illumination Supply when they had their $35 off $100 sale. I love it, but they didn’t have NW and I want NW.
I am definitely in this GB for a NW version.
And I will raise a big stink if BG sends me another CW light labeled NW like they did with the D40A. I let it slide that time, but the V11R is glued shut making it difficult to change the LED.
My son will be very happy to take my CW version off my hands

I think they’re just using the photos back when the V11R was XM-L. I’m pretty sure if you buy one now you’d get an XM-L2, unless if you were to get some really old stock.

I highly recommend clarifying with Neal if NW and CW will be possible and that it is XM-L2, and not assuming its this or that even if the website says ‘X’.

And you people are evil, I might be in. I like each of my 3 v25c’s, but theyre a tad big and heavy to pocket and forget its there, a 123 sized version might just be right.

BG standard price of $70 is already pretty good. The closest price I found from that was $80 from HK Equip. So to try and get BG to do $85 @ $45 is not going to happen, I’ve never seen a GB shave that sort of margin of. Nice light, would like one with the extender for around $60 would be very fair.

If you guys can’t wait, found one on ebay for $60 without extender. http://goo.gl/lZNizj

I paid $53 when is was on sale at illumination Supply.

XM-L2, or XM-L?

$54.92 at DX. XM-L and not available tint option. http://www.dx.com/p/sunwayman-v11r-cree-xm-l-u2-190lm-dimming-tactical-flashlight-black-1-x-16340-1-x-cr123a-230194#.U5EQ_XbE7Fw

Must be a misprint on Ebay! This light is NOT 3 modes!! It has a control ring for variable output!

Geeezus… you guys are so hard to please… come on you guys have to be realistic a bit here, we have good enough discount for the light here.
Seriously, what do you guys expect from already deep discounted price on a premium light? :expressionless:
You can do some searching on Ebay, Fasttech, DX, Wallbuys etc… they don’t even offer this low, and you want free extender too?
As most New Yorker will say… Fuhgedtaboutit…whatsamatta with ya?

I guess if you keep on searching ,someday some notable company such as Gearbest.com will print a mistake on the pricing and they will honor the price ( yeah right… ) :Sp

adding an extender to a deeply discounted light just won’t happen.

I am on this like white on rice, but seeing as I don’t control the credit card, I will have to grovel and jump through hoops to get it.

I would be willing to do an add-on group buy for the extender.

Well… I already asked them if we can get discount too on the extender or maybe a package deal with extender :~

I agree that some of the “wishes” were a bit unrealistic, but then again, I’ve always thought that the price for the AA extender was kind of out-of-whack, for just a tube of metal plus 2 O-rings, so maybe, as you suggest, they can do a package deal, and lose a little margin on the extenders, but do ok on the overall sales?

Alright… let’s see how many want the extender? please post that you’re interested in getting light and extender or just the light alone so we can get the idea how much is the light going to cost us, but please be reasonable as the original price is $70

The V11R is, last I checked, selfbuilt’s EDC of choice. And the very similar JETBeam RRT01 is GoingGear’s EDC of choice. I think it says something that two of the people with the most experience and widest choice of lights both chose very similar models. The two are like Pepsi vs Coke.

I have a RRT01. It was $54 in early 2013. It’s nice, but … I’ve found that cr123/16340/18350 lights are just too wide for my taste, especially when they’re stubby. And the variable control ring is neat but not worth the massive drop in runtime. And it turns out I prefer having a few well-spaced fixed-output modes instead of continuously-variable. And although the tint on my particular RRT01 is the nicest Cree tint I’ve ever seen, it still pales compared to a Nichia 219. The V11R has the additional issues of the clip being clip-on instead of screw-on, and the need to flip it 180 degrees all the time to switch between clicking and twisting.

So, they are very nice lights, but it really depends quite a bit on personal taste. Personally, I’d rather have a slim 1xAA light like the L3 L10-219, the D25A 219, or perhaps a T10S/T10T. The ZL SC52 is also quite nice, but doesn’t come with any high-CRI emitter options and has a rather military aesthetic that I don’t like. Fantastic output and modes and runtimes though, and it stands up to more abuse than any other aluminum light I’ve tried.

If you like relatively large cr123-sized lights, the V11R is easily one of the best in the world and this is probably the lowest price ever for it. But if not, there are some very nice 1xAA options too.

I´m in for the V11r in NW

I wouldn’t be interested in the light without the extender, so the best price on that combo would be helpful.

I already have the Mirage and RRT-01. The beam on the Mirage is disappointingly ringy, but I like the clicky to prevent accidental activation (and I’d install the Ti button onto the Mirage). The 18350 option of the RRT-01 is also a plus for the Jetbeam.

Still in. NW, light only, no extender.
