If you haven’t ordered from Simon’s Aliexpress store before, here’s how it works.
Place your order for the item, but when you get to the screen asking for your payment (credit card) info, stop. Don’t fill out any payment info. Go back to your account page and look at “My Orders”. Click on “View Details” for the order form Simon and scroll down to the message box. Type in a message to Simon to adjust the price.
Wait for Simon to adjust the price. Might take a day. Just check the “My Orders” page until you see the price has dropped. Now you can complete the payment process.
Nice host… no if only someone will make the pill out of copper to accept 17mm or 20mm driver this would be perfect 
but for less than $19… I think I’m going to get one :bigsmile:
The method of this “special price” was not clear.
Can I get a refund? I don’t feel like waiting three weeks and then having to open a dispute with Aliexpress.
Simon, I accidently placed 2 orders but only want one. I have paid for one at special price (thank you). Please cancel the second.

Actually it’s not that bad… just place the order and click buy… but don’t pay yet… just wait a day and he will adjust the price and then you pay… simple and he shipped fast too.

I’ve already paid and was charged full price. The instructions were not clear on how this process is implemented.
I would never have ordered this light for $31.05.
I made a similar mistake the first time I ordered from Simon. Once you’ve paid, the money is in escrow at Aliexpress. Simon doesn’t get the money until you acknowledge receipt of the light. Then he can issue a refund.
He refunded my money the same day I received my order, as soon as I logged into Aliexpress and acknowledged receipt.
Simon has a good reputation. You will get your money back.

A not paid order will be canceled automatically of Aliexpress (after 7 or 10 days) without any problems.
Aliexpress recently posted a few new rules, including this one:
Unpaid Item Policy
Committing to buying items and not paying for them will eventually have negative effects on your account. We highly advice you to pay for an item once you have gone through the Buy Now process.
You will have a 20 day period to do so.
Excessive unpaid item cases will result in a range of consequences, including limits or loss of buying privileges, suspension or termination of your account.
Unfortunately, Aliexpress has lots of glitches and you some times accidentally place three orders trying to place one order. There is no option to cancel the other two.
you can just e-mail the seller and tell them you made a mistake and ask them to cancel the orders for you
Unfortunately Aliexpress doesn't do PayPal and I don't own credit cards. I miss a lot of deals that way, but that's life.
Thankfully there are at least a few Ali seller who will work with you and allow a PayPal transaction. My S2+ PayPal order with Simon went very smoothly.
If they don’t allow it you can use a debit card. I have a few friends that follow the same procedure with each purchase. Transfer exact amount to card, make purchase. That way there is very little money out in the open and the risks are minimal at worst.
LD-2C? Looks like it will fit. I’m definitely interested in at least one host. BTW, does it have a model ID #?
