The hole in the shelf is definitely >20mm, I measured. There is no one currently selling populated BLF 22DD boards. I don’t think anyone has received one yet, WarHawk-AVG only just shared the widened version 2 days ago. If you need one built up I’d talk to RMM - http://mtnelectronics.com. He’s already assembling BLF20DD drivers for $14-15 here. I would expect lead time on the bare boards from Oshpark to be at least 8 days.
Sure. If you can’t wait and are able to solder a little you could always order a built BLF17DD or BLF20DD from RMM now and install it using an adapter ring as discussed in this thread. Take careful look at my shared projects on Oshpark to select the appropriate boards for you. The 26mm v11 is the most versatile (when filed down to various diameters), but the 22mm v9b will require the least work. You’ll get 3 boards when you order, so it’s up to you to figure out what works best for you.
Sanyo is fine but that cell has no protection. Maybe a new thread so others can benefit from your questions? They’ll never find this information buried here.
You made me laugh out loud. Do you normally have slow mail in Romania [I assume that’s Romania], or is it just a sucky experience this time? I bought into the GearBest dreamcharger GB the other day, so I’ll see how my second experience is with them shipping to the states.
I wouldn’t say it’s unusually slow. Things come from Asia in 10 days or in 40 days or anything in between. It’s a lottery really. Glad I made someone LOL.
Best delivery was when I ordered a 2K monitor from S. Korea. It arrived in 3 days flat and was about 400 dollars, so i guess DHL was included.
nice one OL. It’s not that i blame GB or anyone really, I am sure they shipped but I think that a lot of online stores use freight forwarders in China and that overcomplicates the whole process. It shouldn’t take more than 15-20 calendar days from them to anyone.
And I know this light is a light worth waiting for
Got my 2 today, after 33 days from order. One came with a 3 AA carrier - weird, the other one came with two 18650 adapters - again weird. Free extra parts I guess.
