Up for sale today is my 6X XM-L2 De-domed Sky Ray King. The emitters are on sinkpads. The driver is the JB-A driver with High, Medium and Low (hidden strobe). The driver has also been modded. It’s Putting out 5,000 on high, 2,600 on Medium and 1,000 on low.
For extra heatsinking. I used copper that was put in place with a combination of JB-Weld and Silicon Carbide. With the silicon carbide mixed it it transfers heat fantastic this allows the lumens to stay up there really well. Even so the High should be used as Turbo because the light will eventually get scorching hot, too hot to hold actually. On medium there is virtually zero thermal sag at all. It will run on medium without loss of lumens, Of course the medium on this light is a little higher than the average stock SRK.
The tint on this light is fantastic and it throws too. It’s just a hair under 100kcd which is outstanding for any light let alone a 5,000 lumen flooder.
This one didn’t come with the XM-L2’s so they were different. Supposedly XM-L2 U2 but it’s impossible for me to test them to be sure. So I just have it listed as standard XM-L2’s.
