yup barely
More photos added to case postā¦ worked on it a bit more before work this afternoon nearly ready for connecting stuff inside and seeing how it looks onā¦
yay I should be finished in a few more daysā¦ unless I find Iām missing something else! YAY.
I think you win the most complex build award! Wow, I am impressed with your skill level. Beam shots out yet?
Nice build, canāt wait for the finished product.
complex? not really some of the others seem more complex to me.
closest I have to a beam shot are the videos in the third post I thinkā¦
once I get everything connected Iāll see if I can take a beam shotā¦
thanks
okay, warm white tube all wired and ready to connect, finishing the cool white tube tonight. more stuff goes in this one. so more to do pondering how I want to attach them together. for now I might use ziptiesā¦ as the hose clamps I wanted to use are too shortā¦ gotta get 2 small ones to make em just a bit longer
then may have to lengthen the power wire as wellā¦ eventually I might use a hobby lipo pack. but for now. external 4500mah 12 volt gel cell
They make super long zip ties for hvac ducting.
I was gonna suggest those HVAC zip ties, you can get a bag of 10 for <$2 at harbor freight.
next time Iām at harbor freight Iāll get some.
posted finished videos and some photosā¦ its more a flooder than throwerā¦ so its good for lighting up a close areaā¦ not really long distancesā¦
Its my browser foult or videos cant display they show āprivate ā apart from that nice work
try again. I didnt have them set to the right permissions
Yay, it works!
yup. its not as good as your light but it worksā¦ I should have bought a 100 watt led and a driverā¦ maybe Iāll make another one with a 100 watt led and driver in itā¦
this one is good for ceiling bounce during a power outage.
Nice videos. Love the looks of the light in the second video! Well done!
thanks sir
Well done firehopper. I hope you dont. Nice effort on the finish and thanks for the vids. I hope your light never has to get used in an emergency.
thank you i hope not too. but I know the power grid in this area. a good thunderstorm/windstorm and its almost 100% likely to fail. sometimes for as much as a weekā¦
