CNQG down two days now, temporary?

If you go near the botom of the homepage, it still says light in the box.

The site appears to be no more related to lightinthebox than it does to Macy’s. It’s clearly a 100% mess right now.

I hope not. FF was out of action for a couple of months apparently for an overhaul which Ric mentioned. Its only been back up for a couple of weeks.

Dammit, wish I knew before I ordered! If they’re indeed MIA i really don’t want to wait for the mandatory period for a paypal claim.

Not anymore it doesnt. He must have used the site design as a template. Maybe he ‘borrowed’ it, then again, he might own/operate that site too.

I placed an order on 15-Apr-2014 and it arrived on 10-Jun-2014 – 56 days after ordering and paying.

I’m still in discussions with Ric because of problems with the order after it arrived – the light I received has a different design to the light that I ordered.

9 weeks after paying and there are still unresolved issues. Very disappointing.

It won’t let me select a shipping method.

I just had that same problem for 2 days at Fasttech; emailed support, no reply, but the next day the cart was zero’d out and starting over it would allow shipping.

I could have sworn someone posted requesting info on how to track their package. Ninja deletes???

I tried to order a BTU. It wouldn’t let me select a shipping type. I emailed Ric and he got right back to me. He reset my password, and sent me the new one. Everything worked smoothly after that. My order was accepted and shipped w/tracking immediately.

My old password signed me in OK, things just got hinky trying to checkout.

It looks like he's spent some time working on CNQG. Just a couple days ago the site wouldn't load many of the product pictures, but a quick check shows that that's all fixed. I'm liking the direction the new DQG 26650 is going with possibly 5 or 7 emitters. I still hope for a true firefly mode. That price isn't very attractive though.

The Black shadow (apparently its just Shadow) JM20 was $38 ($36 maybe) for months, then offered as a weekly special for maybe 2 days at $28 just before the site went down. When the site came back it was at $42 but now its $35.

However, free shipping …lol.

I note the category drop down menus dont seem to be functioning for me (firefox). Nor the selections either. I just clicked the Blackshadow menu, and got Solarstorm and Skyrays. No JM20, I needed to search for it. Its till a work in progress.

Went back and found some missing pictures. It's much better than it was though. FF is still in bad shape.

I think people concerned about dealings with him should take notice and see he likely isnt ignoring them. The site upgrade takes time too, so its not just them. He likely has little spare time IMO.

I have complained a couple of time about his lack of reaction, so in all fairness I have to update.
After several weeks of trying to get contact I finally got a response a couple of days ago after I had posted in another topic here and send him a message again.

This time he reacted quick and with a good solution and compensation.
If the solution comes through I take back my word about him trying to scam me.
It still is bad that it had to take almost 2 months before he responded, but at least a late and good response is better than a quick and bad one.

I got the last BTU Shocker host. When I ordered, Ric said it was sold out, but he would try to find me one.
Shocker shipped, and now site says “sold out”

Yeh ummm…heheheh

Maybe I know something about that host?
