I agree 100% if you want your batteries to be tested fully and have the specs reported in the utmost entirety and accuracy send them to HKJ to test and review
Be advised his reviews are VERY thorough and unbiased…so if you send him good batteries they will show as good, if they are junk, his tests will reveal they are junk
This is why so many of us trust his tests and reviews
PM sent, thanks for the offer. I’ll make some discharge graphs before I blow them up.
Are the cells protected?
The rated capacity also seems on the low side. Do you manufacture the cells or are they made by Sansung/LG/Panasonic?
Judging by the max rated discharge, I’m also assuming the cell chemistry is ICR.
I have a imaxB6 that can test the MAH under different loads. I also have an IR temperature gun to test batteries temperature at super high loads.
I would be happy to test them out for you.
If you plan to make other types of batteries with higher max draw, I suggest making the “button top” have a wider surface area for better contact
“If the cells are protected, I might have a hard time torture testing them.”
You can take apart the battery cover to access the protection board and then rip it out, or tap into the B+ and B-
