Malaysia Post - who has an open delivery?

Hi folks!

I am waiting for a delivery from lightscastle and another from banggood. Both where sent via ML Post.

on the tracking I read:
(lightscastle order 2014-05-28)
2014-06-18 23:24, Item posted over the counter, MPC PMIH (KLIA)
2014-06-06 11:40, Dispatch Pre-Alert 05/06/2014, In Transit

(banggood order 2014-06-03)
2014-06-21 02:05, Item posted over the counter, MPC PMIH (KLIA)
2014-06-10 11:10, Dispatch Pre-Alert 10/06/2014, In Transit

so I wrote lc support to ask what that means - answer:

has anyone similar experiences?

I have had that tracking message. It then changed to posted or sent via surface/seamail or similar.

2014-06-14 12:05, Item sent to SYDNEY SEA/SURFACE, MPC PMIH (KLIA)

My FT account says it was posted on May 23.

Its beyond the sellers control sadly. It seems to mean exactly what the sellers are saying, batteries on airmail is not happening. Malaysia Post is very strictly controlling shipping of li ion batteries. Its not new laws, they are just enforcing laws that already existed. Not surprising when you consider all eyes are on them at the moment.

I think Malaysia Post is using a third-party shipper or their subsidiary to send packages from China. That’s why the package must be posted over the counter. That is just the first step like the normal delivery from inside Malaysia.

some of my item stuck at malaysia since MH370 incident :~

I have a laser module and 2 Flashlights on the way…

no batteries

No batteries? Interesting.

All sorts of things are getting lost in that country, eh?

my package is lost forever… I got my money back thanks to paypal but still I wanted to receive it!

At least its lost in your country, not in the sender`s.

still lost  I needed that replacement bnf copter for parts… can’t always fly with my “big” tbs discovery

So not sure how this works, newbie here. However I ordered some led shoes for my kid. The tracking number given is Isreal post, but the details say it was Processed GMTC over the counter, departed MPC PCIH (KILA) and is now located in the destination country, USA. However, the package is late and supposedly has been in the USA since Dec 28th. Is it customs holding it up due to the battery? It's non not rechargable so it won't tell me what battery it uses but I'm assuming not lithium ion since it is not rechargeable.........any advice would be helpful. Just wondering if I should request a refund or not.

I’m from Malaysia and usually my orders from China arrives between 3-5 weeks. It’s weird though, I’ve been receiving china goods, shipped from China but they’re using Netherland post? Most parcel can’t be tracked at all. Called Malaysia post & they say no such parcel.

Yeah mine was originally from china, ran through a company called Isreal post which has no computer system, then was transfered to Malaysia post??? It is now showing in United States but I have no idea what city, no flight number, just that it's here but I'm not sure where or how to find out. If it's stuck in customs I get it but I'd like to know for sure

I already have a solution to those shipping concerns for a long time already.

I have stopped wondering which goes how, what goes where, when will tracking appear or go active, etc. etc.

So far and up until now I cannot figure out nor have gotten a plausible explanation on why this package goes through that, so on and so forth.

Just too much worrying about it can make my life miserable.

Yes, my solution is to stop wondering and just forget about the package.

I just have a spreadsheet of what item, tracking number if there is one, was sent by a vendor on what date, then simply crush that out in my list when it finally arrives.

One day you’ll back and realize that you worried too much about things that don’t really matter!

Almost the same, but IMHO most shipping dates are of no real use. If you ask CS why it is taking so long, they mention a later date and ask you to have a bit more patience. So I start counting days from the notification mail PayPal sends me.

as a fellow malaysian I had no idea why things are stuck in MPC PMIH KLIA

Even my convoy S2 host got stuck there for a month.

Ouch!
Hope everything turns out well.

So far for about 20-30 deliveries of flashlight, li-ion batteries, folding knives, etc, the most my shipment was held up at KLIA is about 2 working days

A parcel that went totally missing is a rare case for me, but it happened recently. Bought the CIMA-1 fixed blade. Never arrive. They’re shipping the replacement now.

Hi akhyar, what postal method you use? Usually mine last trackable is when it reached KLIA, then no news.

It depends on the sellers actually.
Mostly SingPost, NL or ChinaPost if ordering from PRC.
