*Help wanted* A list of pill-less lights (WIP)

Hopefully, this thread will turn into a pretty comprehensive list of lights with a solid thermal path, aka “pill-less”, “integrated pill”, “uni-head” (If there is a better term for this, please tell me.)

I know of a few lights off the top of my head, but I cannot list them all. This is where I would like your help. Variants, general price range, and other notes are also helpful.

I will hopefully add/edit this often.

If it is a 32650, it is assumed that a 26650 or a 18650 will fit with an adapter. If it is a 26650, it is assumed that a 18650 fits with an adapter.

LIST: (in no order) (will try to add blf thread links + prices soon)

TrustFire TR-J20 - Review Thread

Just keep in mind that a solid floor plate doesnt necessarily mean that a light has a properly designed thermal path for dissipating heat to the available outer surface areas.

what I meant was a straight heat path from the led star to the outside of the head, so that you skip the middle step (pill).

updating op with extra lights.

Well yes. Sorry, I automatically assumed that you were creating this list with the thought that pill-less lights would offer a thermal dissipation advantage over their pilled cousins. Which begs the question: what is the purpose of this list?

XinTD X3 (3xAA,1x18650,1x26650) ~35.00

I saw this list of hosts, and thought why not? It will be useful to someone at some point. Since we have a habit of over-driving led to the point of the led re-flowing itself with a bad thermal path, why not save someone the legwork of finding a light with a good heat path?

OP updated

Nice list.

Ill also vouch for Ultrafire F13. First generation of these had pill. Second generation, which have been the lights sold lately seem to be unihead/pill less.

K2 does have some sort of pill. There are several solarstorm lights that seems have a tight press fit aluminium pill... Including the smaller modes.

As for blackshadow. Im not sure if they are all pill-less. But they are not all good. My blackshadow padme have a mostly hollow pill. Terminator does not have aluminium everywhere under the emitters either. Its up for debate, but id say its good. You be the judge.

DRY comes to my mind, but not sure if CNQ still carry them.
