2nd. Annual BLF Scratch Made Light Contest is CLOSED - WINNERS results have been posted in the OP!

as of this post. 3 days 13 hours to finish your builds!

Gonna be close, but i might just make it in time…

Going to miss the deadline once more. It will be the summer holidays again before I even start the build, but same as last year: I am going to do the build and I will do a build thread :-)

Good luck you all with the last stretch!

3 days, 6 hours, 20 minutes.

It's going to be a miracle, if we even have ten contestants with finished lights, in the hand made category.

Oh well, sh** happens and life tends to get in the way of all things planned.

Some great builds though and a couple almost done, so I hope y'all can get them finished.

The Solar Rechargeable FlashLite is done! Had a great time with the build, and reading all the other builds. The ingenuity shown always amaze me. Hope some of the others are able to follow through at the last minute.

Looks orsm with the clock in the side.

Radio alarm clock?

Stereo?

Naw, Tru-Surround, that’s what my old Toshiba laptop said, ha, ha.

2 days 12 hours!

Finally finished my build - really happy with the outcome.

There’s one more weekend left, & I know there will be a couple of people thrashing to get their builds finished!

Good luck to everyone

yeah I’m not exactly pleased with the output of mine… but it works and it is handheld

maybe I’ll build another version using a 100 watt led and stuff, but maybe using wood next time…

PHOTOS of the finished builds, now shown in Post #1.

Good luck to everyone!

Ill race you guys to the finish line.

I hope OL and everyone who is not in a hurry finishing their lights are enjoying the show. :)

Is the counter in OP correct? People can work on their lights on Monday too right?

Same here, i wish good luck to everyone who entered this contest.
All these custom built lights are great creations, though with many differences between each one, they all hold one big thing in common…

  • There are no losers in this fun comp, as they are all great efforts showing the common interest we all share, making everyone a winner in my books.

Well, the contest runs until June 30th at Midnight, but the counter is set to GMT, or it's supposed to be.

I’m sorry but I didn’t have enogh time to work on anything so you can delete me from the list.

Thank you very much for the opportunity OL!!

Best wishes for every contestant here, its funn to work and post but also lots of effort really to finish a project. I have seen great talent, diversity, and determination and i like all the projects that i read here.
It was a first kind of project for me this and fir sure i will remember well enough thise days for a long time.
I have one last bit ti add in my project but i think to not have enough time to implement properly.
I have a couple of las work pictures that i believe do more justice my light so am posting here and please OL if u find time chose one of those for putting in first page above my name

Tick tock tick tock. Whats that you say?

Looks great, Ervin - like a crown jewel!

I took some outdoor photos of mine this morning.

Post #61 of my build thread.

If it's not too much trouble, I wouldn't mind getting one of my outdoor photos at the start of this thread, in place of the one that's there now.

The original pictures were taken at about 1AM, after I'd just finished it.... it looks a little better outside, at 10AM :)
