They have 5 dollar led bulbs online, it’s the cheapest I know of anywhere to get 60watt equivalent Led bulbs.
Don’t know if it’s going to expire anytime soon, but I bought them a year ago for the 10 a piece, and it’s only the 60 watt equivalents that are discounted.
There’s a 10 quantity order limit. Home depot is the only place I know that carries this discount, and it’s a huge one.
EDIT: Did a little research and it seems it’s very sensitive to where you live. These guys at slickdeals have a breakdown of price by state, I guess it’s dependent on subsidies from local energy companies.
WOW 1.98 a bulb in vermont…if winter comes and I’m there for the mountains and this deal is still on I’ll definitely be stocking up.
This is not about a great price, but rather about a great idea.
I have a commercial property that needed a better light fixture in an office restroom. Here is a picture of the ugly light fixture that was there (shame on me) and picture of what I did to make it better. The solution was at Home Depot and cost $19.97

What makes this so attractive to use is that any cheap light fixture is at least $10 and needs to be wired in. Add to that the cost of a bulb. This solution is $20 and just screws into place and as an added benefit it is already LED.
Thanks for the kind words, but it seems I jumped the gun on the string trimmer deal. $139 marked down to $58 was not as good of a deal as I thought. Now they are $38! (IF you can find one)

I checked as soon as you posted that weed whacker deal the first time, but my closest store didn't have them marked down at all. I should try stop in on the way home tonight to be sure.
There has been a massive security breach at HD, the same one that Target suffered, only it seems it took much longer for HD to notice. In fact it wasn’t until banking officials and law enforcement clued them in did they have any idea.
I picked up some of these lights at HD today. If your store is not out of stock, they should be on clearance. The price in your local store will vary

This light runs on 3 x AA and has 33 LED’s in the worklight for 200 Lumen. Don’t be fooled, 200 lumen is enough for most purposes. There is also an 80 lumen flashlight that is just OK. There is a push button on-off for the flashlight and the worklight turns on when the popup head is pulled out. A steal at $2.53
The flashlight LED is badly off center on this one!

EDIT: I hit HD this morning. Was able to find their last Defiant Work Light. It was marked $9.30. I took it to the register and asked them to check the price. They said it's $9.30 and pointed to the sticker. Remembering you talking about how the clearance prices are often not posted in a thread you posted (I checked your threads and couldn't find it to link here), I asked them to humor me and scan it. It rang up $2.53. Sweet. Thank you for helping us bargain-findingly challenged get a good deal dcho man.
Oh, also got one of these for 1 cent. It was in a clearance rack all by itself. I would have cleaned them out if they had any more.

In both stores they are NOT with the flashlights, they are in The electrical department.
IAM4, I am jealous over that Swiss Tech for 1 cent! Last week when I got the tool those were already sold out.
Garry, my store has several cases of the digital timers behind the display. These too are in electrical.
BTW, in the DST thread there is a link “inventory checker” to check local stores for availability of stock.
At lunch I hit a different HD. They had none of those lights, but they did have some of the glove sets for women and a different Swiss Tech Multitool. It had the price of $9.06 marked on it, but rang up for a penny. Again in a clearance rack.
This store had the digital timers in the tool isle. The other HD had them in the lighting area.
