For this mod I started with a Ultrafire C8 It was the Q5 model. The hotspot on this is very tight and crisp. Probably because the reflector was intended for a Q5

The driver is a constant current driver with memory so whatever level you turn it off on that is what it stays on. I fully potted the driver so it can handle the extra heat. This driver also has low current and high heat protection. High, Medium and Low no blinkies

The emitter is a XP-G2 that was a very cool white, after de-doming it's a very nice neutral color.

Spring mods on both ends have been done as well.

This light will out throw most stock throwers, including a stock ZY-T08 actually it throws much farther than the stock ZY-T08 It's the most throw I have gotten out of any C8.

Do you have any mod thread of this light? Wonder how did you fit the 21mm driver into the C8 pills.

Howdy, sorry but I didn’t do a mod thread. This light came with a pill that fits the 20mm star and it’s driver was larger than usual as well.
