Got my padme today and well yea it is as-is product. Highest light setting is on the low setting and that maxes out at about 100 lumens. Glad Honky spent $15, maybe I can get someone. To fix it, but we will see if better batteries can give it a jump. Thanks for the deal though.

Got mine, and it is beautiful.
Nice output on 14500’s, similar brightness and beam pattern to my
stock HD2010.

Q:
These were sold due to “switch longevity” issues.
I’m not a modder.
Does anyone know ( in the event that the tailswitch dies) - is it possible
to bypass it, and operate the light via the control ring only?

Sorry to find this thread as I have the Darth and like it enough so that I was thinking of getting the Padme too. In general I like magnetic ring lights, particularly if continuously variable, but I also like reliability.
