Pink new 2600 Samsung 18650s for $2 each, free postage!

I tell you what, you pay shipping, I will send you the pulls I don’t want.I get 1 or 2 packs free every couple weeks and I only keep pulls that are 2500 or 2600 mah or more.

Hey, I'd be totally up for that, thanks! There was someone else that was willing to do that, I think it was Bigwood, but he's up in Canada and the postal fees were ridiculous. I'll be sure to do some giveaways with those to give back to the forum. I'm overdue for one anyway.

Heat is your friend with glue, if you have a heat gun that is even better provided you do not over do it.
Once you get the glue separating they can open up like a clam.

Happy hunting!

That sounds much better than my first attempt. My brilliant idea for my first pull was to use an old soldering iron like a hot foam knife. That soldering tip still has plastic I can't get off it, and to add insult to injury, the heat spot welded one of the seams. I'm pretty sure I cut myself on that pull too.

I got my battery. I was able to get all the cells out in under 20 min. There was one casualty.

How smooth does the top and bottom have to be? I got it smoothe enough so that it won’t cut you, but you can still feel the bumps…

I found it to be a very easy process overall if you don’t mind possibly damaging 1 cell. I did not need a solvent to get the dried glue off, it came right off just by scratching it.

Should be fine, you don’t need to take the welds off if you don’t want too. Just make sure the the pieces of metal is flat so you cut yourself

Video of my opening a pack for the first time. Might not help anyone except myself.

Received my two packs. Got both open pretty quick. All cells had 2.6v. Charging them and see how it goes.

got my pack, sustained 2 cuts - slipped with the screw driver H) second was the metal tab - razors

2.6v for 4 cells and 2.5v on the other 2 cells

Ok, I just ordered. Heaven help my fingers.

Thanks for the heads up Ubehebe. Using regenerative discharge on my iCharger I was able to pull steady 4 amp discharge from my old Sony 2.2k mAh Graphite (US18650GR) batteries@ 3.7-3.8.

I’m in town in a week or so then will try the Samsungs for sag at 4 amps plus capacity and compare IR. The Sony laptop pulls were 2008 vintage and all 12 charged just fine so waiting to see what the Samsungs do.

Happy to report my 2 packs arrived today and all came in at around 2.5 v .
Looks like some more nice Sammy’s

When I tried to order 2 packs o batteries the site would not let me. Something about seller limiting to one order per customer per 10 days… What gives.

I think you’re doing something wrong. I was able to place separate orders within 10 days of each other. There are multiple listings for the same product from the same seller - maybe try a different listing.

I think I’m doing something wrong too. I tried other listings of his but I get this…

I’m getting irked.

I see that there are a lot of new 6 cell 5200mah battery packs for $12 and less with free shipping. Is there any suggestions as to what brand of pack, dell Xperia, acer etc?

I would go for HP but for me: 12$ battery packa + 45$ shipping :open_mouth: LOL

I am thinking of this one. I assume that the batteries are all 18650’s - could there be packs with 18500’s? I just wish the other seller from the OP link would respond to my messages.

I had a China dealer do this to me on some cheap 14500 lights. I emailed him through epay and chewed him out.
This is what I wrote;
Dear ._,

Why can I not buy more items from you?
Seems crazy that you do not want more sales from me. When bidding it says Not allowed due to buying 2 or more items in last 10 days?

Not good.
If this is true, I will have to tell many people about you.
Please advise,
Thanks,
Keith

His response;
what you mean ,? this is my set for all of the buyer because all of this lose money for sell and to rescue my account so i set this to reduce my cost ,so please understand me any send 2 item for one buyer , i hope you can understand me ,donot leave me any neutral and negative feedback for this ,thank you anything tell me more i will try to satify you ,if you want more item tell me and i will give you the best price thank you

Me back;

I am sorry, I do not know what you mean.
If I buy 2 items at once, I save you money by only having to ship one package.
I have not received first order, so I do not even know quality yet. I was just trying to take a chance hoping that they are good and order more from you just now and was rejected.
It will not be bad feedback from me left on here, I am a member of popular flashlight forums.
Does not seem like good business policy to limit customer.
You have many goods to sell, correct?

Anyway, thanks for quick response,
Keith

His final response;

yes most of the flashlight i have ,and if the account come batter i will reset the request for buyer and then you can buy more ,if you want to buy more or other you like if can you also tell me and i will give you the best price thank you ,best regards

In the end the lights came and did not have Cree emitters, so the output sucked and he did me a favor by limiting my purchases. Up until that point I did not know this limit could be imposed.
My guess is it was put into place to keep someone from cleaning them out fast and then reselling at a higher price?

I don’t know but it still seems like bad business.

Sorry for the long read.
Keith

Let’s say you have a ebay store and you want to do a promotion by selling one or two products really really cheap, even with a small loss (this loss is a cost of promoting your store) it is in your interest to have many buyers so they would “spread the word”. If only one customer buys all stock it is likely that he is going to resell them with higher price for profit and, of course he won’t tell to anyone how much he paid or where did he get them…
