Wrist watches. Post pics, if you EDC one!

Do you know what model that is? Looks sharp!

Here's two more. A Tag Heuer I bought when I was Vegas 22 years ago. And a Movado Valor I got nearly 10 years ago. The Tag needs a new battery.

I’m lookng for a few Casio-like watches for work. Anyone have an ‘Alike’ brand in their EDC collection? About $6-$12. Here are a few that caught my eye:

These look definitely super good and for such a low price it is hard to resist. The third one is what I like most.
Tmart has also nice watches I have this on order which cost me less than 12$.

Check out this thread for a short review of a casioclone.

I like the looks of it. Band material says ‘steel’? Let us know what it looks like when u get it!

My Timex showed up yesterday. I really like the simplicity along with the Indiglo backlighting :)

I’ve been trying out the gear fit for a few months. I really like it. It gets a lot of attention and it serves the function of displaying texts and emails well enough. It’s going back in a couple weeks, but I look forward to future smartwatches.

This is my EDC watch. It’s really worn and has ruined me for non tritium watches. I have even joined a forum to try and figure out how to get tritium into those Seiko Racer 5 watches. It might not be possible due to space available for thick watch hands.

Not another addiction hobby!

What are the practical advantages of automatic watches compared to quartz ones?

Don’t automatics need maintenance or oiling every 5 years or so too?

My DW5600E after about 14 months of daily wear.

Work, working on cars, showers, sleeping etc, its had plenty of knocks and scrapes but aside from being a bit dirty its unmarked and still in top condition.

Its held up pretty well but I’d like to get something a bit more classy.

I have been interested in a Orient blue Mako for a long time but I’m currently out of work, when I have income again it will be high on the list right after the necessities.

It looks pretty good for having gone through all of that use. Always liked G-Shock!

Get one, you will love it. I actually recommend the Orient Ray instead, much better lume, but both are great watches and unreal values.

Victorinox Swiss army Alpnach, after 10 months of daily wear. It has one of the most durable coatings I’ve seen…

Wow that’s beautiful. Can you tell me how much it weights?
Can’t find it on their site

I see your point, sorry about that...

Just want to let you know, you can have this watch at amazon for $101.38:

But, if you want the black Mako, you can have it now for only $81.10 ($101.38 minus 20%)

236.2g

Thanks mate

Thanks for the links.

Unfortunatly they dont ship to Aus, I prefer the CEM65002D (FEM/SEM) with the steel band, it makes the watch look a bit more classy than a rubber strap with dolphins on it. Although I did look at them because they are cheaper but then buying a Orient replacement steel band is another $80+.

The blue Ray I considered too but I really like the numerals on the Mako, if I could have any watches I wanted though I’d have a few Orient watches including the Ray.

anyone know something like this?

i like it…!

I figured I'd wake up this sleeping thread :) I ordered this second generation SRP307 Seiko Monster from Amazon. I should have it tomorrow. It's got the new improved 24 jewel 4R36 movement that you can wind manually as well as being automatic. Also, the second hand stops when you pull out the crown to set the time unlike most automatics. This is the first watch I've purchased in over a year. I'm pretty excited :)
