RAYUS LED flashlight

Hi Downlinx

You can find the dealer’s price in below link
price

I would like to see a teardown of your product to serif it justifies the price.

yeah, we would find some reviewers to do the professional test, so you can know more about it.

Hi Buwuve, yeah, this is new brand, hope to get your support, and the PT10/PT10S price in dealer’s web is much less than TK22

some dealer may sell higher than we suggest  , it seems now, it get back to what we suggest

check price in dealer here, thanks

Ebay has around 15-19% tax (ebay+paypal tax)
Do you think you can sell directly from your website to cut unecessary costs?
Do you think you can do a group buy for C01?
Which emitter does the c01 have Nichia or XPG?
Do you think you can post pictures of the dissasembled light? 30 lumens is below average. many modders would want to mod this light because of the durable looking host. Maybe size measurements?

IMO, those are grossly overpriced lights for a product that has no reputation. Even at 1/2 your asking price, you’ll still face some stiff competition from a myriad of other established reputable companies that produce very good lights.

the C01 has Nichia and XPG led for your choice

If you get the light, you will know it highly deserve this price, yeah, as a new brand, it’s no reputation, but the quality will help it win people’s heart

looks good. these guys are probably the OEM for fenix…

of course they won’t admit it

thanks so much

nice fuel gauge, zebralight style

this ain’t a budget flashlight folks

wow no dumb timer stepdown. seems to be thermally regulated, probably “thermostat” style but still interesting nontheless. yep this is DEFINITELY not a budget flashlight brand!

RAYUS Should be sending out free/cost price units to a few select people to do reviews! I’d be happy to do one

yeah, we are choosing several people to review our light, so if people are interest, can prodive the link of his reviews for our reference.

+1. Actually the price doesn’t look too bad - it will be interesting to see a few reviews. I can’t think of too many stock Nichia lights less than $15.

Will the light (LED) burn out, or will the body just get real hot real quick?
When I get one, I will first try a Lithium primary AAA because of the slightly higher voltage and then will try a 10440 at 3.8 volts and see what happens.

I have yet to have a flashlight burn up from using the 10440. Some of them do not really get much brighter, just hotter but most get much brighter and don’t seem to suffer from it.
Thanks, the Rayus Flashlights do look really nice.
Keith

Yeah, I think people would buy them if there were some reviews.

Thanks, Keith.

If you use 10440 in C01, the brightness will be much higher than current output, but if you often use 10440, the light will get very hot and maybe the LED is burnt. So as manufacturer, we don’t hope user often use 10440 in the C01 light.

Sincerely Wendy

Got one from this very responsive USA vendor ghflashlights_and_more .
Ordered it late Friday and got it this morning! That’s service.

You do need to contact him through Ebay to chose LED selection, I got the Nichia and while it is not super bright with the supplied Duracell, it will in fact run on a 10440. I only ran it at 3.75 volts to be cautious but will try higher voltage tomorrow.
Really bumps the output and looks great. Nice warm Flood.

Looks like FastTech has 2 different 10440 LiFePO4 3.2 volt batteries but the capacity is low (280mAh).
Does anyone make a better 10440 LiFePO4? Might be safer for extended use at this voltage.
The XP-G2 model may tolerate the higher voltage better than the Nichia as well, but then you are back to cool white tint.

I’ll try to get some pics up tomorrow but rest assured this flashlight is well worth the $14.95. It is just a hair shorter than my Tank007 E09, same diameter, and has way better flood and color reveal with the Nichia.
The Tank is brighter for sure but the Rayus has just a gorgeous beam.

I’d like to try the bigger models, the PT 10 and the PT10S, but don’t want to part with cash right now but they do look nice.
Later,

Keith
