Just finished inspecting my lights. No logo on any of them. I'm very happy! :)

Two out of eight of mine did have off-center leds. It's might be either a manufacturing flaw or caused by a bump during the journey from China, but anyways easily fixable:
1. Remove battery
2. Open the bezel
3. Remove O-ring and lens
4. Adjust reflector so that the emitter is centered (just take it away and put back, keeping the emitter centered)
5. Put the lens back
6. Put O-ring back
7. Screw in the bezel

=> Emitter perfectly centered (and user happy) :)

Edit: One more thing: The NW tint is quite warm, just like in the original CQG S1 v1.

the is the light usable with alkaleaks or is a li-io required?

Perfectly usable with alkaleaks or eneloops. I actually prefer using it on NiMH because it heats up pretty fast on Li-Ions.

I had ordered a NW one of these a couple days after the coupon was released, and just got it in the mail.

Tint is very nice, and has just the right flood/throw for an AAA size light in my opinion. Threads are good, and the head and tailcap seam together incredibly well.

My light came today (tho “tracking” never worked), ordered on the 8th, delivered in 11 days.

I’m happy to report the bezel is not glued and the clip came off without scratching it.

Really love how the seam between body and tail is totally invisible when screwed together!

edit: took it apart, (after having it 5 minutes lol), the lens is in really bad shape, chipped really bad, thats my one complaint so far

I got mine today! Great item!!! I have a question. How do I open the tailcap? My friend wants the button to be out more. He says it is hard for him to press it. Any suggestions?

I got one NW yesterday, arrived DOA. Thanks for the photos of dis-assembly, I quickly found that the positive lead came off the star. Looks like a cold solder joint that let go in transit. A tiny dab of flux and a touch with the soldering iron fixed it. Great light for the price. Probably best with Ni-MH unless you only use short bursts. Thanks _the_ & GB.

Decided to jump on the bandwagon and ordered one in CW. I added tracking so we will see how long it takes them.

How fast does this thing heat up with 10440’s in it? I’m debating on using alkalines or li-ion’s.

Quite fast. I'd suggest using either NiMH (Eneloops) or Lithium primaries (Energizer Ultimate AAA or similar).

Very good AAA Lithium primary battery for the price of alkaline.

Energizer Ultimate AAA is better than Nice.

I forgot to mention, mine has the Singfire logo. I put the clip over it, the slightly rougher surface may help attachment to a pocket.
