My light came today (tho “tracking” never worked), ordered on the 8th, delivered in 11 days.
I’m happy to report the bezel is not glued and the clip came off without scratching it.
Really love how the seam between body and tail is totally invisible when screwed together!
edit: took it apart, (after having it 5 minutes lol), the lens is in really bad shape, chipped really bad, thats my one complaint so far
I placed 2 orders. first one was for 2 lights and paypal says payment went through, but order still says in processing. Second order for 1 light went through and already says shipped. anyone else have this problem?

I got mine today! Great item!!! I have a question. How do I open the tailcap? My friend wants the button to be out more. He says it is hard for him to press it. Any suggestions?

I got one NW yesterday, arrived DOA. Thanks for the photos of dis-assembly, I quickly found that the positive lead came off the star. Looks like a cold solder joint that let go in transit. A tiny dab of flux and a touch with the soldering iron fixed it. Great light for the price. Probably best with Ni-MH unless you only use short bursts. Thanks _the_ & GB.
Decided to jump on the bandwagon and ordered one in CW. I added tracking so we will see how long it takes them.
How fast does this thing heat up with 10440’s in it? I’m debating on using alkalines or li-ion’s.
Quite fast. I'd suggest using either NiMH (Eneloops) or Lithium primaries (Energizer Ultimate AAA or similar).

Very good AAA Lithium primary battery for the price of alkaline.
Energizer Ultimate AAA is better than Nice.
I forgot to mention, mine has the Singfire logo. I put the clip over it, the slightly rougher surface may help attachment to a pocket.
I was really wanting something rechargeable. Looks like I’ll have to hunt down some Eneloop’s.
Yea I’ve bought from ChibiM before. Great prices. I really just need a 2-pack as I don’t have anything that really runs on AAA’s. If I can’t find any online, I may give him a shout.
You cant paint the silver lining on clouds, but A for effort.
I only have big flashlights (18650 and XML)… So I have no idea how bright these little things are.
To give me an idea, how does this light compares to the LED on my Iphone? I wanna know if it is worth it to have this light in my pocket for indoor use or if it’s not better than my phone.
This flashlight has much more output and throw than a phone flash.
The phone led is pure flood, decent in a pinch for ranges within 3-5ft.
The S1 clone is great from point blank to ~10 yards.
Definitely worth having this flashlight versus a phone led as a flashlight.
Received my NW today— its beautiful, and output is fine on Duracells.
Nice and slim body.
Just wish the clip was stiffer.
It will be fine for thicker garments; not so much for shirt pockets.
