I was taking more than 10 at that price. But then I woke up.. ;)
You may keep dreaming but that won't happen. :)
Edit: Seriously: Please don't try to guess / discuss about the real price. Send me PM if you are interested.

This is the normal price for this light. Not going to happen at $50-$60.

Reviewer's note : Supbeam X40 was supplied by Supbeam for review.
The X40 is the high-output light from Supbeam, using 3x XM-L2 U2 1C emitters, with in-light charger, and running off 3x18650.
The X40 comes in the hard cardboard box packaging....
Does anyone know how mod friendly this light is?

I really don’t think too many members are going to sign up without any idea of the price, or they’ll sign up and back out if the price isn’t to their liking.

Yup, mod friendly if the head is not glued.
Just as easy as the Supbeam/ThruNite lights we all love.

Just checked specs on X40VN. Only modded from 2,5A to 3,1A to each emitter. Is that max output?

I don't think so. Someone please correct if I'm wrong, but it must use the "charge parallel, run in series"-approach, which is used also in the K50 and X60. Quite lot of magic in battery holder.. :)

V2. 4A to each emitter and batteries in parallel. Source (Thanks JMPaul320)
Stock, the batteries are in series. Charges in parallel like mentioned above.
As far as a good deal goes, does everyone feel they got a good deal on the K50? If so, then this one will probably be a good deal as well. Price is not disclosed for obvious reasons. Anyone that knows what the price on the K50 was, then you should be able to figure out why the price is not disclosed.
