[WTS] 3.2W 445nm MagLite WITH batteries & various flashlights (inquire)

Hey all,

Have a few bills that came in higher than expected so need to sell some stuff to pay for them. I am selling a laser from my PERSONAL collection, my 3.2W MagLite build. This was a laser that I built this winter and never planned on selling due to only using top of the line parts. It has a 9mm 445nm diode in it driven by a 2.3A x-drive. Driver is thermally bonded to the back of the heat sink for extra long duty cycles (duty cycles of 5 minutes are no problem for this laser). Has a 9mm lens to pump out the most power possible. End cap has been bored and the spring recessed to allow for use of 22650 OR 32650 cells (18650 as well if you made a battery tube out of PVC or something). This is a turn key, top of the line laser in one our our favorite/most known hosts. Comes with 2x 26650 TF Flame Protected cells. Complete package is $250 shipped (cost more in parts to build but I need the cash for bills). I was originally asking $350 over on LPF but dropping the price $100 for one week to help pay for bills.

I also have various flashlights I may sell (literarlly everything form AAA to 4x18650 lights. Let me know what you are interested in; style, size, etc…. and I will let you know what I can part with.

Thanks for looking

How it looks complete

Pictures help everything sell. Lure people in.

What good is a laser if you can't use it to vaporize bills?

Photos added

@Gj, It can EASILY vaporize a full STACK of bills, however it cant vaporize the bill collectors once the physical bill is gone

This laser can light a 2x4 on fire if you try. Easily lights paper on fire as well and can be seen for MILES!!! Easily can reach out and touch the clouds if you want as well.

Bump, this is NO cat toy, this is a mans laser!

Dont shine at your friends and have them chase it, UNLESS you want to risk burning them and blinding them forever

I am not responsible for the idiotic choices made by the buyer lol

Very nice package you have there..

just a question though; if you didn`t let your friends chase it, and you didn`t use it to shine to the moon,
what DID you use it for? ;)

bump for you!

Wow…that’s insane…

Do lasers taste better with salt?

That should be a sweet laser. Do you have a build thread on it?

I dont believe I made a build thread on this one due to building it after my surgery. I tend to never take photos of it while building since im afraid ill get too caught up in photos and forget to solder something, solder wires together without shrink tubes (done that before), solder wires up without running them through the heat sink (did that on my first build) or whatever. After my first build brainfart I stopped taking photos during the build and focused 100% on buod accuracy. I built it at the kitchen table, that was one place I could make it to after my surgery. Nice tall bar chairs and a tall table lol

I never really got to use this laser, built it after surgery and then stored it while I did PT. After PT I moved and started a new job hunt and now I finally found a job but dont get paid for a month so I have to sell something. Sucks that its this though. Its been used for roughly 20 min for sky pointing, believe I lit some fireworks with this one and then did a test of the duty cycle/heat sinking. After that it got locked away in my safe until now (well it still technically is but oh well)

Anddddddd…….BUMP

It looks awesome. Please bear in mind the care needed in handling high powered lasers though for whoever buys it. I have a very small but probably permanent blindspot in me left eye from just a 50mw green laser, I can’t imagine the damage even a diffracted reflection could do from a 3200mw laser.

Anything over 5mW COULD possibly cause damage to the human eye. Under 5mW the eye can blink fast enough to protect itself. You can easily use this laser outdoors for sky pointing WITHOUT glasses if there are no obstructions present. You cant use this laser for burning without purchasing safety glasses. Eagle Pair glasses are what I own and use and trust my vision with no issues.

Like I said above, this isnt a cat toy, this is a “mans” laser. Although I joked about having your friend chase it around like a cat, it WILL do *serious*damage if you were dumb enough to use it in that way.

You're going to injure birds pointing that at the sky. Migratory birds can fly far too high to see with the naked eye at night.

Would have to be nocturnal migratory birds.

A lot of migratory birds fly at night, many times I've heard geese honking overhead at night, unseen.

Solution: don’t be an idiot and shine the laser at any living object. That’s just straight up cruel if someone did. Like I said, this will light a 2x4 on fire so imagine what that would do to your skin or a bird…….not nice

I'm just saying, you can't see high flying birds at night.

I would hope they’d move far away as soon as any ungodly beams cut across the night sky.

Yeah, if you hit a bird at night with this accidently then I dont feel too bad. I mean if the bird is dumb enough to fly into thr intense blue beam then they will learn their leason………quickly
