YEZL Y3 CNQUALITYGOODS Group buy. 3 Versions. See post 274 for delivery details.

The page currently says:

and I think it said 49 yesterday, so I wonder if they really have 50 available for this GB, rather than 20??

I really would like to get one of the Type C ones, but there are several other GBs I’m waiting on already :(!!

It definitely started at 50. I ordered the first, it dropped to 49. Sounds like he's got 50 on hand. 20 was supposed to be the minimum to start shipping, but he started shipping already Smile - even better. Thanks RIC / MRsDNF!

Thanks MrsDNF and Ric
One version C ordered !

What cells to get for it ?
I’m considering Keeppower 5200mAh IMR 26650s…

Chinese page for Version C:
YEZL Y3 XM-L2 U2 3x26650 1100 lumen

Note:
Reflector: . . Aluminum Alloy OP reflector
Wonder if GB version is SMO.

just one questions =the=, do the version c’s come with 3 18650 adapters?

LOL, I'm not running *all* GBs here. This one is MrsDNF's baby.

[In fact we were preparing to have a Y3 GB, but manufacturer was out of stock and couldn't deliver soon enough -> MrsDNF & Ric were faster with their existing stock.. We can still arrange it after this GB if there's enough demand left.]

I would guess that it comes with three adapters, but I'll let MrsDNF or Ric answer. :)

crap sorry, i was just in your other GB, I failed sorry

No prb. I failed to spell MRsDNF. Sorry Steve!

Go to the link in the post (#61) right above yours (#62).

The text say OP but the pics show SMO - we don't know... Smile Should be SMO - never saw/heard of a Y3 with an OP. He's got a good share of copy/paste errors, typos, etc.

Questions to be answered are,

Is the reflector smooth or orange peal, it appears to be smooth in the pictures.

Are the 18650 adapters included.

It sounds like that these lights will not be shipped until the minimum amount has been ordered. If you have said you are getting a light but have not ordered I'd suggest to order it to get the official website order number up. My list is not complete. There is at this point in time eleven units ordered.

The led has been confirmed as being a XML-2 U2.

I did hear about yours and others efforts _the_. I'm not sure what the answer is to this apart from a secret sub forum. It was due to happen. I thought for a moment you were coming on board to help. I need all that I can get.

I would buy some of these batteries as well if I knew where to get them from.

Welcome to the forum buttholeflashlight. You have a very unusual forum name. No explanations needed.

There’s a small pic of the reflector that looks like SMO. But then the hot spots in the beam shots seem fuzzy like that of OP hot spot. Hope it’s SMO.

Yikes, you are right bout those beamshots. My Y3's beamshots look nothing like that at all... Hhmm. Just checked my Y3 and the hot spot is tiny compared to the spill area -- looks nothing at all like thise shots.... Oh boy...

Maybe we all get individual light patterned lights?

The question has been asked on the reflector. Ric wont get back to me when he first reads my questions if he does not know the answer. Thats my guess anyway and will get back to me when he finds out. He is a mystery man (girl?) of very few words.

They use the same beam shot photos for a lot of different lights, they're just stock photos. Remember, most of humanity isn't concerned with the finer points of beam artifacts, et al.

+1 agree - probably not the light in question in the pics, or the camera settings are so messed up, not a true representation. The Y3 has the classic thrower beam - better looking that the new HD2010's, tight perfectly round hot spot with a flowery shape aura around it well centered - pretty common for SMO's. Those HD2010's drive me nuts because the black centering pieces are too small for the reflector hole...

Simple answer to your centering problem.

Fixed. I love it even though it is driven on high under 3 amps.

Sure but can it throw? Across the yard maybe Smile. I'm thinking that pic is hiding a custom built extension tube on the back of that thing, knowing you Wink.

Without going into human nature, you may be more right. A few months back I admired a beam shot, but then some one pointed out its obvious fake. So l looked at other beam shots of different flash lights from the same seller and lo and behold several used the same beam shots — even when the flashlights are different types. Let’s hope that’s the case here. The two peeky shots of the reflector looks shiny/smooth without any ripples.

I'm in. Haven't done one of these type of GB's yet. Do we order now or wait until 20 is hit?
