I have made a few posts seeing if there was interest in these so after many posts and numerous messages here is what I think is the best way to offer these.
I can fit anywhere from 1~22 packs into a medium flat rate shipping box.
Each pack contains 9 cells.
I have opened 8 packs and thus far all were above 3.8 volts. The ones I have charged are holding their charge after 2 weeks. Beyond that, that is all I know about them.
I would like to offer them in packs of 9 with the following scheme,
1-5 packs 0.65$ per cell ($5.85 per pack) These will be torn down and shipped in a smaller container to save money on shipping.
6-10 packs 0.40$ per cell ($3.60 per pack)
11-15 packs 0.35$ per cell ($3.15 per pack)
16-25 packs 0.30$ per cell ($2.70 per pack)
25+ packs we can work something out.
Please keep in mind these will be shipped in medium flat rate boxes. You are responsible for the shipping. Medium flat rate boxes are 12.35 for shipping, last time I checked. For larger orders I will be more than happy to use the larger ones but I have no idea on how many will fit in the box I also tried to fit them into the small flat rate boxes but I was not able to get them to fit. I also have packs that are 6 cell packs but were in much worse condition.
I live in West Virginia and would be more than happy to do a face to face.
Please send me a PM if you are interested.
Edit: Included pack orders for 1-5, these will be opened and the batteries will be shipped in a small flat rate box. Sorry but if I was flooded with small orders this would take up a chunk of my time.
No longer for sale.
Paypal okay?
Why offer them in packs of 9 if you can fit more than that many in a single medium flat rate box?
max
Sorry, groups of 9 batteries or one pack.
Yes Paypal is fine. Are they all the same pack, what cells are inside?

All the same type of battery, opened 8 of the same type and all were UR18650a, sanyo 2250mAh. I would like to think that are all the same type of batteries but I guess there is no real way to say that without opening them.
Why not tear em down and ship individual batteries?
How many would fit in the “if it ships” $5.80 box?
And this is NOT a bad deal…even the 2250mAh are going to be MORE accurate on mAh than many “chinese mAh” junk people sell
heck even at $1.00 a piece you are sitting on a goldmine! I know for a fact these batteries work PERFECTLY in everyday run of the mill daily drivers…all day every day
WarHawk, most of the discussion on the value of these batteries is over here Laptop Packs.

Yes…I have bought a few from 18650, they are good batteries
If there are beginner flashlight aholics here…I highly recommend getting some of these, they are MUCH better than the generics
Thanks Halo
Lotta work to rip apart hundreds of packs.
I’m intrigued about how many can fit in a
small flat rate boxor maybe a flat rate padded envelope, because if it’s 2 or 3 I would probably be in.Edit: noticed you mentioned that you tried the small boxes already.
Will try the padded envelopes after work. Will post the result when I can.
Laptops can be hard on batteries, some might not be particularly good. And they have to compete with the deals for new, un-used old packs that come up once in awhile.

so lets get this right ...
A person could buy 8 panasonic 3400's
or 180 of these for the same money .

Guys, he is selling these at a price per cell, but they are used, unopened laptop battery packs that he would be shipping. That is why he is saying packs of 9 cells. You can order whatever number of packs you want, but they have 9 cells each in them, so you will be paying at that rate. Please check out the discussion at the link Halo provided. One thing Hagg911 says there that makes this interesting to me is that most of the laptops these came out of were still claiming these battery packs had 60% to 70% capacity. That means at least that they are still good batteries, you can even still use them in a laptop if you happen to have the right one. It also means that they are still a matched set, because they are still charging/discharging “equally” within the tolerance of the laptop pack’s electronics.

Ok, post office was out of the bubble mailers. If you order less than 5 packs I will open them and ship them as cells only in a small flat rate box to save you a bit of shipping costs.
Free of charge. After tearing 3 open for Warhawk I think I will edit the original post and put that if you want them in a smaller container I will have to add a bit to the cost.
That’s what I said. <3 Futurama

USPS will mail them to you for free though.
The low mode should be lower.
First round of packs will be shipped today. Opened 3 more packs last night. All of them were sanyo UR18650FM. Did not test each one but several at random and they were all above 4v.
your laptop battery supplier wouldn’t happen to be able to get his hands on some 2.5” sata laptop drives would he?
How many do you need?
P.m. sent
They’ll give you the packaging free if you go get them but if you try to order some to your house they’ll still charge shipping. It’s the govt. what’d you expect lol.

The packs are right at 9inches.

Priority flat rate packaging is free, including shipping, like it's always been, or at least for the last 4 years that I've been having them sent free to my house.
Here's the bubble envelopes.
USPS is awesome. Hopefully conservatives fail in their attempts to drive it into privatization.
The low mode should be lower.
I’d be interested in 2 or 3 also depending upon price and capacity.
About one hundred have went out. Stuff shipped this morning will get tracking numbers out asap.
Thank you for doing this for the community. Sure is a LOT of battery capacity you are sitting on. None for me though
