Don't have any measuring equipment to tell you how much lip there is to work with. Best guess is 3/64 of an inch. Anyone know how the tail cap comes apart?
I agree, I’m gonna be using them with my Eneloops. The 10440’s actually are going to be used for a Vinh light I plan to order. Just curious as hell how bright they’re going to make this light.
So… Cool white or Neutral white for me?
I own an XM-L2 U2 1A and I like the tint. But it’s right on the edge of being too blue for me. So is the cool white version cooler than an XM-L2 U2 1A?
Thank you, that confirms what I was thinking.
I have a few questions, sorry if they were already answered:
1- What is the current draw on an Eneloop AAA? (I saw the specs on GB but I don’t trust them :D)
2- Is the output lumens regulated/constant like in a 7135 based flashlight?
3- What is the approximate runtime to 50% brightness with an Eneloop?
4- Did somebody test the efficiency vs input voltage characteristic of the driver?
I don't have any real eneloop AAAs at the moment, but I tried with two other NiMH cells: - one with 1.25V voltage did draw 0.63A - other with 1.33V did 0.57A

Haven't had time to investigate or test any of these, but I bet someone will chime in and answer, as there are so many sold already.. :)
Exactly, I also dont want any ‘special’ help from GB. They emailed me said it was sent and thats all they can do. They cant track it, nor can I. Either they lied or its on its way still. I always have PP to cover me if I dont get it so nbd if I was lied to. This was GBs only chance from me so I guess its in their hands on if I return ever or not.
