can I find a glow o-ring for the front of the light

Email the seller and ask.

The U80 has a PWM of 500Hz, just for info. It is the fastest of all my budget chinese lights. And besides the U80 has really good built, HA, anodized threads which are super smooth when you screw on the tailcap etc. It is definitely 1 level above my Sky Ray SR3800 if you look at the cutting/detailing.

The page cannot be found,

After google them I like the last one -- TrustFire X2 SST-50 40-Mode 1300 Lumens LED Flashlight Black (3x18650)

the same from https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/359znmzdx

DX sells it at $110.70, is it worth buying?

The Sky Ray 818 that I purchased from Manafont was only ~$57 and it absolutely blows everything else that I own out of the water (and I own a large number of $200+ lights). It lights a room like a 60W light bulb!

um, I'm want to ask my teacher.

Well since this thread was necroed, nowdays the triple XM-Ls are the best bang for the buck. For 50 to 70 bucks, you can crank out 1500ish lumens. Not bad!

i dont think the brightest flashlight is the best flashlight, the one fits for you perfectly is the best one for you.

If you want a very good thrower flashlight with a reasonnable price go with FandyFire STL-V6 (Deal Extreme) or SkyRay STL-V2 (Manafont) (same flashlight just different brand), http://www.dealextreme.com/p/fandyfire-stl-v6-cree-xm-lt6-2-mode-1000-lumen-white-led-flashlight-2x18650-3x16340-3x123a-91137

Don't check just the number of lumens because biggest is the reflector ,more it's bright (for the same LED) and often the manufacture overate there lumens. For a xml-t6 with the same driver ,one have a 50mm SMO reflector vs an 61mm SMO reflector, the 61mm is more bright for a more long distance.

For exemple i have this flashlight http://www.ebay.ca/itm/350455644753?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

But it's not an SST-80 because it don't exist, it's an SST-50 by luminus brand. I have modified the LED for an XML-T6 with the same driver of this flashlight....simply AMAZING!!!....more bright, more distance and the hotpot is more concentrated in center ,all of this with less curent, less heat and amazing distance with more longer autonomy!!!! i have 2 others flashlights with the same driver and the same XML-T6 and work with 2x18650, but with two different reflector....the big is more bright ...and the distance is more further because the reflector take more brightness for projection.

For exemple if you check a XML-T6 flashlight rated at 1600 lumens (overated) and an other with same LED same Driver rated 1000 lumens but the first one have a more little reflector that the 1000 lumens, more chance that de 1000 lumens come to be more bright and more further distance...you know.

nice to meet you boys.

That's really bright! I thought it was a car light.

120 lumens ain't that bright, PAISLEY enthusiast.

I think he's PAISLEY too. I've seen three of his five posts all with pictures (none personal) with two links to the same seller.

blinding!

must be low mode.

by the way, how does the paisley pattern relate to spam? ( i dont get it or i lost it )

:)

Foy's response to a spammer when asked " What is your favorite "

He replied " I lke walks on the beach , sushi , and things that are paisley ."
