Well at this point of time, for me personally, that light should not even be 140, its beat out by much better TK61, which cost around 150$, much better runtime, alot lighter, smaller and so on.
Auctions to strike me as much risk of a scam, or at least it doesn't follow the formula. It's the "buy it now" deals with ridiculous prices that I'm wary of.
Was it this seller ?
I’ve bought 4 olights on auction from him for nice prices, 2 out of 4 had noticeable scratches in anodizing. On one of them it was painted over with black marker, lol. It seems to me that he puts returned lights on auction. I’ve asked for a partial refund for the damaged lights and received it right away though.
If you want absolutely new flashlight it might not be the best place to buy from, but if you don’t mind few scratches it’s a great deal (I’ve got S20 for about $20)
I saw the Olights, but ended up getting one of the same seller’s IP cameras for a really good price…
Combined with an 18650 battery pack, it may be a good portable unit.
Unlike the ebay description, it does not do FTP, yet, although it looks like a first generation firmware.
There is some older discussion about that same ebayer at the other forums.
He does seem to ship the purchased lights most of the time, but sometimes he does not.
Sometimes I hate these automatic origin recognition or whatever. On some website they even show the local currency instead of $ and I have to change that every time. Cnqg doesn’t work on ipad safari and eBay seems now to make dumb things also…weird world.
