Used Laptop Packs- Have Hundreds of them

Comfy you seem to be on a mission lol. These are used packs that from what everyone has said are working well and keeping charge. As well as having decent mAh ratings. Then to boost that is the price. So seriously stop taking pop shots. If you don’t want to buy them then please do not. I am trying to help others out and if you disagree then please take the negativity to the other threads and not the one in the WTS forum. OR you could ask me to send you a couple packs and then test them yourself and post the results. I am not trying to dump bad product. I found a great deal and I am sharing the wealth.

You don't know yet if they are any good, they have not been tested, and you're sending them out to others who possibly may not know how or have the means to test them, either. Holding a charge is not an indicator of their condition. Their capacity and internal resistance is something you should have determined before you started handing them out to anyone else. It's a safety thing, more so than it is a value thing (though the value thing is not insignificant).

Dude I have tried being nice. Seriously I offered to send you free packs since you are dead set on acting like they are such a horrible thing. I am handing out laptop packs to a forum based on modding flashlights and using Li-ion batteries…… It is the individuals responsibility to decide what they can or can not handle. I am not their mother and neither are you. So please stop.

Understanding that you mean well, but I +1 to Comfy’s caution:
A Li-ion that tests at 60-70% of original capacity is at or near it’s end of useful life and likely should be recycled, or at least used in a low drain device, instead of pressed into service in a high current flashlight.

Then do not buy them.

I think it's pretty safe to say the folks who do know better are already not buying them. So who's left? You're comfortable with that?

Guys got my shipment in, his packaging method he could feasibly safely send out 36 batteries in a medium sized “if it fits, it ships” container 3 rows of 12/6 taped together in a string stacked double high
He even shipped me 3 batteries for free because the 3 packs of 9 batteries [27 batteries] the taped string of 6 missing 3 would have been loose in the box.

I can say that these batteries are quite nice, awesome GP “daily driver” batteries, I have no way of testing them like alot of folks here, but the 12 I have charged so far have accepted a charge without issue, have NOT gotten warm at all (I had several Ultrafire 3000mAh batteries that got hot, BRAND NEW) and are in impeccable condition.

These will be perfect “daily driver” batteries and have not shown signs of abuse or weakened capacity

Even if I did get a few dud cells in the shipment…he sent me 30 batteries for less than $20, has been absolutely straight forward with me in dealings and stands by his sales (heck even stands there and defends his sales!)

Hagg may have to up his pricing further down the road…because he truly doesn’t see the goldmine he is sitting on, he is practically GIVING these things away where he could be charging almost 2x what he is now and STILL be offering people a “good deal”

Those of us who do understand the dangers of receiving garbage/crap cells are asking hard questions, and are looking out for the well being of the community, Hagg911 don’t be offended or put off…they are there protecting all of us by asking hard questions, they don’t mean to step on your toes, they are just wanting to ensure we don’t have a shady dealer dumping garbage on the unsuspecting “noobs” like some other dealers have done here, people here have been burned by nefarious sellers and they have every right to raise an eyebrow when the “too good to be true” deal pops up

I will say this…with my limited testing capability I don’t/won’t have the answers for the hard questions being asked of Hagg911, but from my experience dealing with many vendors and sellers and quite a few cells, he is selling good batteries, for an INCREDIBLE price (you won’t find them this cheap usually anywhere) and he is a good seller [from my dealings with him]

If you need inexpensive but still “good” cells he truly is offering “too good to be true” but delivering!

Those of use who can test them…hit him up for a few packs…test the bejesus out of them…then let the rest of us know

So far in my dealings with him and what he is selling…he doesn’t seem to be out to make a quick buck and screw us over

Lol, fine you win.

:frowning:

Thank you for the batteries Hagg911

You were a good seller and thank you

+1 to this. These packs are way better than the cheap UltraFire crap coming out of China.

I ordered some. Hagg was very clear from the start that these were used batteries, which means they come with all the issues of used batteries. I will be testing mine in the Opus when I get them, but either way, I think Hagg was clearly in the right…

New post made adjusted the lower end packs and added disclaimers.

You forgot don’t insert rectally or smash with a hammer

Fixed.

Awesome. Deal is dead.

Way to kill something great for the rest of us “poor” people Comfy.

Shithead.

I put up another sale thread, with warnings about them being used laptop packs. PM if you want any.

To be fair, he was being overly cautious and looking out for the well being of the community

No reason to call names…

Bought 18.

Tests off fresh charge at 1A discharge via Opus:
Minimum: 1933mah
Maximum: 2090mah

Hope they work out for you and thanks for posting the mAh ratings.

Very decent mAh ratings…and they are laptop pulls so should be good enough for almost every daily driver out there
