Frown

Probably true, they sell a lot of clones

I have two lights coming from DX. The first one is from China. It took 27 days until they gave me a notice that it had shipped. The note also said 7-10 days for shipping. We'll see.

The other light I ordered from the new DX USA warehouse. I ordered it on the 12th and it shipped on the 17th (supposedly). What happened to the fast shipping promise from the USA warehouse?

Sucks but I am used to it I guess.

yeah there as slack as ! Im on 45 days since notify'd shipped and still no sign of order Frown

I ordered some small 2-3$ thingy last year.

Not just yet here.

slow delivery

Fast delivery from their UK warhouse to France: 5 days.

No risk of additionnal customs fees because it is within Europe. Shipped with Royal Airmail Signed For (priority handling & registered delivery), each item in bubbles enveloppe, all enveloppes in a larger plastic bag.

You may very well won't win your PP dispute, if the package really has left HK and bound for Aus and the package is registered (they do that for anything above usd15).

You may wish to order from USA as they are generally faster by say a few days to 1-2 weeks. I have had shipments that took 21-40 days from like 10 different aliexpress vendors, Manafont, Kaidomain, DX, bestinone.net and even cnqualitygoods.

BTW, I have heard of 3 cases in which packages got lost by USPS, the latest being a Zebralight SC600.

I'd believe generally sellers are not responsible for goods lost, some sellers do send out the item again as a gesture of goodwill. If you sent via Express courier or purchased insurance then you could get your money back, but it will take long. The best is "a guarantee" by the seller to send another package out, for eg lazerer.com. They guarantee the power of their lasers ($2 additional) plus guarantee goods received.

I always order with one-off Paypal payments rather than through a PP account. That way, at least in the UK, I can request a ChargeBack from my bank if goods ordered and paid for never arrive.

yes order posted registered , still yet to recieve and no sign of it when using tracking .....I dont see how I cant win paypal dispute if it doesnt arrive , it was sent registered and never recieved so I should be refunded simple as that ....is'nt it ? am I missin somethin here when it comes to paypal protection ?

Generally they don't need your password, just your account name or order number. Unless you use the same password for DX and PayPal, giving someone your DX password still won't let them get into your PayPal account. You should not use the same password for DX and PayPal. Seems like to me they could reset your password if the problem is your forgot it or it isn't working.

Even with Express Checkout, you still have to log in to PayPal. Nobody would want sellers being able to access their PayPal accounts directly!

I don't know any site with that payment procedure, and I wouldn't deal with such sites.

My most recent DX order was made on 8/5 and the status of the order has just been updated to "Shipped" today, on 9/7. It may be just this order, but they seem to have been much slower this time around.

Haven't received an order from DX in close to 40 days, filed a Paypal dispute and they're pulling out the fake refund e-mail BS again.

As far as DX goes...........when it all falls apart and you get a dud, item never arrives, or is taking forever to ship:

Paypal Buyer Protection works. If the buyer does not receive the item, it's on the seller. If the shipper messes up, the seller is the one who used the shipper to get the item to the customer. It's not the buyers fault if the shipper screws up and the item never arrives. The buyer paid his money to the seller. The seller has to file a claim with the shipper and deal with a refund or insurance.

Always file a dispute if it's been over 40 days (but before 45 days). Yu can always drop it. DX tries to scare you into thinking that the process is now on hold until you stop the dispute, which is BS. I've even had DX send me notification that a refund has been issued to my Paypal account....which was never done. They WILL try to stall you out of your 45 days time limit to file a PP dispute.

Don't fall for it. Just tell them to issue the refund or you will escalate the dispute to a claim and wait for PP to do it for them.

Anyone else get an email on a DX USA warehouse now open!

I got that email yesterday.

FWIW, I ordered an UltraFire c1 XM-L T6 USA warehouse, a TrustFire R5-A3, a universal single charger, and a couple of 2 packs of ultrafire blue 14500s on 8/13/11. Got the C1 in about a week or 10 days. Poor bubble wrap, slight dent on bezel. Over all happy with the light and shipping. The China stuff arrived today 9/22/11. OK bubble wrap. Nothing damaged. The 14500s came in plastic carrying cases - sweet;-) My EDC holster now has the R5 + 2 spare 14500s!

Can't believe how difficult it is to wait for the items to arrive. However, the person I told to get the same things got her order in about the exact same amount of time -- a little over 3 weeks.

So far I am a satisfied customer.

Should be instant. The tracking number gets registered at the post office before he can even give it to you. Át least that’s how I understand it. Haven’t experience being given tracking number that isn’t active right away.
