Luckily, its not. 
The X60M (3 x MT-G2) is sold under the new Acebeam name (formerly Supbeam).
Although their outward appearance is nearly identical, the X60M is a great flood light with less throw beam but costs nearly twice as much as the anticipated GB price of the X60 (5 x XM-L2 , which has more throw beam for greater range and costs a huge :money_mouth_face: amount less). Read the several great X60 reviews others have posted and check it out.

If not for the company changing its name from Supbeam to Acebeam, this GB would never have been possible and the price drop would not have occurred.
But then, a true flashaholic would already own several of each. :bigsmile:

Let us know how you like the light, it would be great if you could tell us if it’s easy to access the LED and sense resistors.

I’m curious about the price as well.
As soon as I get the sample, we will be able to confirm the build quality, finish, performance and partial dis-assembly for mod potential. I noticed over in the X40 GB thread that Southland posted that his light just arrived with a nice matching finish, so thats a good sign. But then Id expect nothing less since this light was guaranteed to have been double checked prior to shipement.

Hi folks, Im sorry for any confusion. I still need to confirm the delivered price. Once that has been decided, I will create a new BLF account just for the X60 sale and post an announcement link here. The link will take you to the new X60 account GB post where ordering instructions will tell you how to participate. You would PM me through that new X60 BLF account (once available) for a price quote once I have posted the link here.
The new X60 account is so I can clearly separate regular business matters from the X60… so I hopefully wont drop the ball with anyone and assure my prompt attention and response to the lot of you.
