that sounds rather impressive to me. i too, may have to give this light a go.
does it look mod friendly?
is it any brighter using 26650’s?
can you link us to the place where you purchased it from?
i cant seem to find it for that price
26650 will last longer and capable of more output but probably depends on driver. I intend to increase driver amps.
Bear with me on photos this is my first attempt to attach.
Crelant and UF side by side.
!!
Beam shots at 100 yd. The crelant on bottom has more yellow and shows more green from tree.
It is very easy to modify. The lens is glass and comes out when you unscrew the top. May have to shake it.
The pill is a reverse thread and screws right out. Center ring and spacer come out. I turned the center ring a few times but not threaded.
Easy acess to driver and star.

I think the driver and star are 16mm I will measure and update.
I will also update future mods.
I am new. Should I put this in a different thread.
They will sell a sample but shipping is minimum of $30.00. You have to buy 3 or more for reasonable shipping rate. Takes 2-3 days to prepare order and 2-3 days to arrive. (don’t include batteries or will take forever) They will sell 3 or 4 different samples. Shipping runs about $5.00 to $10.00 each depending on quantity. Most suppliers on Alibaba.com will do the same. Very easy to join and they take paypal.
Since this is a T6, you may as well got to fast tech and get the upgrade to U2 led with free shipping. The cheaper models have smaller head diameters and may have plastic lens.
Thanks for the pictures, very nice beamshot with the two flashlights side by side! The beamshot indeed shows a very similar throw, with a bit sharper led image it seems (better lens?) from the Crelant. (The Uniquefire is way better looking than the Crelant IMO)
I also have some beamshots from a night camera at 5x zoom that I can post tonight.
I imagine the Crelant has a better led. I intend to swap in a dedomed U2 and then drive it harder.
I will posts shots for mods.
There's not many rules at BLF, it is fine to post in this thread (it perhaps keeps the information on this flashlight compact) but you can open a new thread if you like that better :-)
I see it you want to know the potential the ligh have to manage heat. Usually in this type of zoomies the weak point is sliding point. I think is hard to get around this… and this light is no exception, but lets wait and see from photos.
A fixed focus type can have good thermal path.
Yeah, but I'm hoping for good news. The portion of the tube that has fins and slides into the head looks like a decent thickness. The pill looks great.
