P60 Styled Sinner Custom Host - "BLFP60-SCH" -

Sinner, perhaps you could offer different bases for the P-60’s. The standard base for use with a reflector, one for use with a triple and one for use with a quad.

Another idea just struck me. Could you make a spacer that threads onto the P-60 base in the same way as the reflector? Then people could just order multiple P-60 bases and spacers to have lots of different options in their builds and you only have to design one other part to open up a lot more options.

I hope I’m helping… I’m no machinist so it seems very easy not knowing what challenges this would entail.

No worries guys I have printed a suggestions and recommendations page , I hope to enhance the design as much as I can.

I there any progress since last month ? I would love to see a prototype !

I really like the other copper and titanium Sinner Hosts, but over 50usd is yet too expensive to me for daily use (and i don’t want shelf (or safe) queens)

If it’s not too late I would like to jump in on this. Simply because your work is awesome and this is a cheap price! Not really concerned how it turns out, I’m sure with everyone’s suggestions it will be awesome regardless.

Wow sinner, nice gesture. Thats really a steal on a full custom host. Subscribed.

If it isn’t too late to let a newbie in I would take two.

I’d be in for one too.

I am down for one also if your still taking people

I’m interested too depending on how much postage to Australia??
Any pictures of what it might look like when finished?
What battery configuration??
multi AA might be a nice change from whats normally available

Has this been mothballed or forgotten?

wow, this sounds pretty cool.

If it’s still in the works, I’d be in for one.

I think a D36 Host would be totally awesome too!!! (Hint Hint) The P60’s Bigger Brother!

I had one too many suggestions with this, and some may want to retrofit quads in there and before agreeing to the final design specs it just made me confused, and i was in the process of machining some new hosts,

As of now, 3 prototypes later, I am in need of a moment of clarity with this, as soon as i have another concept i will resume this once again.

subscribed!

Make it screw in not drop in, possibly will become new standard of P60, at least on BLF

Actually i have one working prototype that is a screw in, all aluminium though but with one xml2 led, this barely got warm to the touch at 3amp single mode driver i had at hand.

P60 reflectors would still be used, so its a great option imho, thanks for the suggestion.

Please work on it, will have better contact to host than wrapping with foil. May be I’m wrong, but imo you can sell it like hot cake.
Aluminium can be good enough for this model, although some may be still prefer copper version for their own reason.

Sometimes you just got to simplify, do what you are comfortable with. Suggestions are one thing, but it's your call ultimately, and I'm sure well' buy what you come up with. I'm thinking comfy's position of alum vs. copper has a lot of merit. If it's easier, cheaper for you as alum, I'd definitely go that way. As comfy has been saying all along, as long as the star is copper, everything after doesn't make much of a difference. Mass and a decent path to outer cooling (fins, etc.) makes all the difference.

I'm a bit spoiled now on e-switch lights - better UI, switch problems elimination, etc. Dunno if it can be accomodated, but again, just a suggestion Smile.

Sinner,

Hope to see prototype photos soon. I’m in for at least one host. BTW, a screw-in pill + P60 reflector? I’ll be chewing on my Seraph in anticipation.

If it ends up being $20, I’ll definitely take one.

Keep up the good work :star:
