Ok, now that makes the meaning a little clearer to me.
I ride a mountain bike occasionally. Don't have a lathe, but haven't met a light I couldn't modify with my drill press and imagination. Thank you for the opportunity ledoman and GearBest.
ImA4Wheelr, so you think you could mod it with drill press and I should count you in? You might be right.
There you'll have to drill two step ring. The outer to fit diameter of the new driver (ie. 28mm) and the second deeper with about 26mm dia so the elements from the circuit would take a place. Hope you understand what I mean.
I can. I've done stuff like that plenty of times. Just make a jig for the head so that it can be rotated against a high speed cutting and/or an end mill bit. There are other ways as well.
Great, then I can put you on the list, right?

Hi eta, can you confirm you can do the modification (also lathe work) and short review so I can put you on the list of participants?
Living in Italy
I am a member BLF about 1 year
I have a MTB
Can I change the light, my friends have suitable tools.
I've done a lot of modding flashlights!
This is my last lighthouse MTB, at a cost low enough,
I need to output a forum friends cpfitaly! will be powered
with 12x18650 4S3P;)
I'll have to install an additional lens on the LED to increase the shot!
I hope you like it!
8) BAM!
i like “over the top”
You call this a giveaway?
I ride my bike on the the New York State Barge Canal (Erie Canal?) almost every night, and would certainly appreciate this light.
But I do not mod, and am sure I will not need a mod, to enjoy this awesome light. OMG, how much light do you need to see in front of you?
I do not own a lathe.
Sorry backpacker, the modification is mandatory as it becames a whole new light with much better user interface and efficiency. You are right it could be used unchanged, but we are strugling to have the best we can, don't we. That's why I'm giving away my own driver along with Gearbest light. Still if you can find someone who can do the mod for you then you can qualify. The review is your obligation, of course.
antoninodattola, it is nice to see such a BIG modification. Surely giveaway light would suits you better. You may need to rearange your battery pack to 2SxP or 3SxP. Found some minor issues with the driver when powering with 3S packs, but it was with 4 leds in series, so this one 6S leds could be different.
I will count you in.
as I have less and less time I step back from participating this giveaway…
good luck all others!
Thanks Ledoman!
This spotlight is born for another purpose; I'll have to mount it with a telescopic pole
and with a small base, which contains the battery, for use as a remote light in subway construction site; similar to PELI 9420
The spotlight is equipped with a multimeter, and a small air vent, has
a button with the change in 4 modes!
It is not a problem to change the battery wiring!
Thank you so much for this opportunity!
i can’t use lathe but my uncle does and i have a bike but rarely use it.
about a review i must admit i was sucks when doing that
