Anyone have experience with these lights? Are they just the T3 and T4 heads on dive bodies? Will they really be fine 30m underwater (they are rated at 100m underwater)?

I have one on order from FT and i plan to dive with it so ill let you know in a few weeks for sure. I have had very good luck so far with my budget dive lights and have not lost a single one so far. Cant say the same for my go-pro though :frowning:

I got this from BG recently I intended to write a review initially, but I dropped the idea because I do not have the chance to bring it underwater.

Hey Freeme. Is it as bright as the T4 do you think? Is the tint any better or the same as the T4?

Got a dx4 from fasttech and dove with it on my spear gun yesterday down to 80ft. Very nice light with tons of output. Made my ssc07 ugly light look very dim. Nice bright floppy hot spot. Highly recommend this light but you need to grease up all the gaskets before use or you will tear them in no time as they are very tight.

T4 is brighter. Dx4 build quality is pretty good, especially the magnetic ring.

Considering Brinyte makes pretty decent diving lights, for them to put their name to this light, makes me think it’s a good buy especially if purchased under the Solatstorm brand.

Went ahead and purchased the Dx4 from FT along with some more 26650 cells.

The Dx4 I got from FT came in the mail today. It was great to see that it came with XM-L2 emitters instead of XM-Ls as per the pictures on FT’s website. As for their bin and tint specifics, I have no idea. All I know is that the LEDs are cool white, and its strobe function isn’t actually a strobe. More like an SOS.

It’s fine though. Hopefully I can get a chance to take it for a dive within the next few months along with my other dive lights (DIV07 and DIV08) to give their dive ratings a test.
