MANAFONT Tank007 E07 BLF Edition & The BLF Lanyard

The Osram Golden Dragon IS NOT a bad LED

Is a bit outdated..... in short, there are more efficient LED´s but, the Osram has some unique characteristics... for me is a bit difficult to explain in English, but...

Look the UniqueFire AA-S1 (what a wonderful light!) look the Black Cat (another good light). Of course there have had some units of those lights with bad bins, bad tints, etc....

I am for one of these lights, OSRAM Golden Dragon multi-mode...... interesting

EDIT: I forget to mention, AA/14500 support, minimun size for an AA light, good tint... etc

Great work. Looking forward to getting one of these!

I can't wait to get mine! Just debating whether to get two or not (one for use, one to save) of them. I just hope there are enough to go around. Would hate to see members that were in it from the beginning not get as many as they want.

Osram... Wonder if an XP-G mod is doable?

My Osram GDP in my EX10 is quite disappointing against even an XP-E on all levels, including beam smoothness... At least its a neutral!!! I guess its not going to stop me trying one.

Great! It was not my choice on the poll but i have to admit that seems to be a great light! Thanks Jim and thanks Admin!

Darn... I was getting pretty excited but I'm not so sure about the Osram LED, especially concerning some of the comments. Is there a reason for going with this emitter vs a newer, more efficient one besides cost? I'd gladly pay a few more $$ if it meant an XP-G or XM-L.

Aside from that everything else seems great! I love the size, modes and AA/14500 capacity.

Wahoo! I'm ready to buy at least 2, but probably more like 3-5.

and i'll probably have to get one, but i never had an osram, so i don't know what to expect, what the pros and cons are. i can't imagine that it wouldn't have been better with a different (cree, R4, R5?...) emitter.

That was the LED that was always discussed. It is pretty small so it might throw pretty well. The other BLF/Tank007 lights have Cree LED's. They have a lot of tints available from an OSRAM, so I am hoping this is a good one. If Jim has a prototype, maybe he can let us know?

I don't know, why some users speak about newer LED or this flashlight with an XM-L ...

Everyone has the chance to vote for one of the three flashlights (it was a XP-G, a XM-L and the this one) and now we have the small, nice one.

Maybe if this one is a success, we get a second forum flashlight with another LED.

Cool light.

I have an OSRAM in my Black Cat, it is a decent keychain light, nice tight hotspot.

I like the custom "BLF" stuff on it!

Boy oh boy, finally :p

A 14500 light with a neutral Osram Golden Dragon. I´ll order one for sure!

Thanks Manafont

Thank you! This offer has just relieved me from my sufferings of endlessly choosing which will be my EDC flashlight in AA/14500 format :) I have followed this forum since after I bought my first P60 (at the time I didn`t know about those formats) from buyincoins and was amazed by the light output and wanted to get to know more about those Q5`s, R4`s, the differences and which would be the best for money. And this forum has greatly helped me to shed some light in those dark corners :D Therefore I will be proud to make this flashlight as my EDC light and carry BLF name around and support friendly people here what makes it so special!

After that first WF-501B I bought, I chose the next ones based on the reviews here and have inspired my friend to buy some lights too. We both now own Kaidomain`s C8 of which he was really impressed by the light output. Unfortunately, the driver has now fried in both of my WF-501B`s (the LED is working when current is fed directly) but they served me very well on those chilly dark nights spent on geocaching. Now I have 2 more flashlights (Manafonts WF-502B XM-L and Keygo KE-5) on the way and this would be the third when it will be available.

Thank you for the nice people here and I anxiosly await the return of Foyviews :D

A warm welcome to BLF, Dzy...

The really crazy thing is that Tank007 themselves have decided that a Cree is the better emitter for the E07 and have now switched away from the Osram they were previously using to a XP-E Q5. See here.

Definitely in for one when it comes in. Osrams may not be the most efficient but they have some very nice tint and beam characteristics. Also, I didn't get the special edition Mr Lite.

I too find the choice of emitter odd, but as long as the light is easily opened up, I'll put my own choice of LED in it.

Enjoy having you here Dzy.
