For sale Sanyo blue tops 18650's SOLD

what state are these batteries in? salvageable? any nicks/dents? sanded off tabs? or any irregularities? Also can u guarantee say 1000mah minimum capacity? Also specs such as are the lenght, are they64mm? or exactly 65mm? I’ve pulled a few laptop ones before and I find keeping some solder and tabs on and bending them over helps the tailcap compression and helps alot since I’m using mostly protected batteries.

Howdy these are pretty much mint. The wrappers are all intact there is no glue residue. They used a wrap instead of glue. Maybe a couple little tacky spots from the wrap but nothing like glued ones. They pull apart very clean. The tabs are also coming off very easy. I knocking down any of the little bits of aluminum left after pulling them apart so no sharp stuff left on them. I can guarantee at least twice the 2000mAh minimum capacity.

They are Sony 2,600mAh batteries. The red top ones are 2,200 but you know how that goes. All of these are testing out at over 2,000 from each of the packs that I have pulled so far.

Are these unprotected cells I assume?

Yep unprotected.

I have purchased batteries from 18sixfifty before…on two separate occasions and batches

If he testes them and deems them “like new” or even “good enuff” GET THEM!

I also got batteries from Hagg911 (the same ones 18sixfifty is testing)

If you need GREAT budget batteries…these guys won’t let you down…get them, they also work impeccably in mobile power units, the blue tops are 2600mAh and they are true to theIR rating

If you have some Flashlights that use drivers with direct drive on high, these will amaze you at the additional output they can draw.
Some of the green wrapper Sony’s from previous laptop lulls of mine come close, but these are better.
The tops are flat so a solder blob is a good idea.
Later,
Keith

For the guys who paid, your batteries are on the way and I sent you a tracking number. If you paid and didn’t get one please PM me. I’m pretty sure though that everyone got their tracking number. The numbers will start working sometime this evening. Small town post office.

For anyone still interested I have a bunch more charged and tested and ready to go.

Just a quick update. My internet is lousy right now. So If I’m not quick getting back to you that is it.

Orders have been shipped and I have more batteries, charged, tested and sorted.

The batteries that were paid for shipped out today and your tracking numbers will start working sometime this evening.

Lets start with 5 and see how they work. PMing you .

I am so glad I got these! I paid for eight cells on Wednesday, Brad shipped them on Thursday morning with a solder blob top added, and I received them today Monday.

They look great, no sharp tabs and only some minor very small cuts in the wrapper on 50% of them. I cannot test mAh, but all tested between 4.13 and 4.22 volts on my DMM. I don’t have a caliper, but on my ruler they look like 64mm (almost 65mm with the added solder blob top). They have a red/pink wrapper with a blue top.

So they are too short to fit in my SkyRay King, but work great in my Tangsfire HD2010, my newly arrived Yezl Y-3, and my old school UltraFire WF-504b.

The cells also fit in my beloved Solarforce L2i that I won last year in a giveaway from Foy. He modded it and also added an infamous Foybenzel. It is well worn now, but still beautiful! It was his EDC, yet he still put it in a giveaway to share with BLF.

Where are you Foy? You are missed.

Foy?

Got them. Look great.
Thanks

Just to let everyone know, I have just gotten more of these in and have some ready to go.

I’m sure there are others outside the US who are also interested in this hence the question: is it possible for you to ship these internationally and in what quantity?

Yes I will ship out of the country for exact shipping costs. I have 150 for sale right now.

Thanks, I was thinking along the lines of postage regulations though.

When I bought my Panasonics and King Kongs from Richard at Mountain Electronics he had to pack them in a host to ship them, for this he used a very cheap plastic torch just to put the batteries in ($1 each host)

Only problem I had was he marked them “Dangerous items” so they got stopped by customs and I had to pay VAT of £4.20 AND “Handling fee” (to post office for sorting VAT fee out) for £8 so my King Kongs became quite expensive :frowning:

How do these stack up against my budget Trust fire flames? might be worth grabbing some.

Richard/RMM has a proper business to run, he has to follow the regulations for exporting goods. Sending a package privately is a different matter. I received a bunch of these cells from 18sixfifty, shipped to Sweden. Took about one week. No issues for me, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.

Howdy, fireblade. I’ll put them into other laptop battery cases that I have, that will work like a proper battery case, that should handle any customs issue if it by chance gets checked. That should work fine for shipping. Plus I am just an average Joe shipping you a “gift”. If they give me a rough time about it, no big deal. Richard on the other hand could be in trouble because he is a business.

These are a very high quality battery with fairly high amps. They will make any direct drive light you have much brighter than your trustfires. The flames are good batteries IF they are legit ones (still not as high amp as these), but I haven’t seen any legit ones in a long time so the ones you have are likely to be just a standard Chinese 18650, which is ok for some applications but nothing like the quality of good Japanese cells like these.

My Trustfire Flames were from DX.com they are the 2400mah versions , according to my Opus BT-C3100 they come in at 2418,2300 and 2416 I have had them a while they seem ok tbh but I have noticed that the Panasonic 3400mah I got from Richard are brighter in my Zeusray zoomies . Be nice if they give a good boost for my warrior, I am waiting for a new driver to replace the one I blew from RIC_CN and some XP-L Noctigon’s from Intl-outdoor then I’ll resistor mod it and maybe de-dome the XP-L’s

How much shipping be to the UK for 10?
And do you add a solder blob on top?

Thanks

I know Richard has a business to run and I don’t begrudge the way he packaged them , he has given very good service every time I have used his store

I don’t mind (well I do a bit) paying the VAT of 20% it’s just a pain how the Post Office stick £8 “Handling fee” on every package they stop.
