A couple times I have tried to cost out some of my mods (None ever look even remotely as good as your stuff) and both times I was quite surprised how much money and time they consumed. Especially when I end up destroying a critical part or host in the process. Your prices sound good to me.

Honestly I don't think Justin is charging enough for these lights. I have one and it isn't just a powerful light--it's a real piece of quality craftsmanship. With the amount of time spent on the file work alone the price is a bargain. Seriously, the work is so precise that if I hadn't watched him doing it by hand I wouldn't believe that it wasn't done with a machine. I build lights every day, but this is something that I couldn't build for myself. I don't have the time, patience, or skill to do what Justin does with these lights.

I love budget lights and the value/performance ratio they bring, but if you want a light that's got that extra little bit of style to it, then this one checks all the right boxes. I think I might have to get on the list for a second one.

O-L,

Very nice work at a very reasonable price. When I first got into LED lights, a modded D-M@G or C-M@G were a hot ticket. And lest we forget, HotWire M@Gs are still very cool [hot?]. Good luck w/ your build service and keep on shining!

+1

OL custom work must be considered flashlight art!

What I love about the MT-G2 is taking a picture, there is this holy light effect rising from the ground. You don’t really see it in rl but in photos it looks kind of like a holy fog

These lights you made are real nice, you should save these and pass them down the line  The only color that’s not for me is the gold one because I’d look like goldberg running around with it and I’d end up blinding myself like that kid in the ad

I see Maglites in a NEW LIGHT! 8) PM sent.

+1!!!

You still do these? I like the top one. I know you’re not doing 1D, but I think it would look good on 2D as well. And the blue colored host is perfect for this, IMO. I’m not ready to order yet, but keep this one in mind. Glad to see you’re gonna try to make some money rather than losing money on these. They are truly works of art and you deserve to be rewarded for your effort and skill, even if it is a hobby!

This looks like a winning combination of components, well chosen! Nice also that the current can be chosen (I'd go for 6A).

Correct, I don't do the 1D any more, or the AA/AAA lights, but this was just to show ideas on file work and in this case, a polished bezel and tail cap. Yes, I could do that style on a 2D.

Don’t be so down on yourself, man. It’s called R&D! You write it off as an expense against future profits, may there be many!

You won’t be disappointed…

I was able to get one of these O-L….
It is Very Bright with great mode control…

This the Brightness Mag Light I have ever seen…

And besides all that…… It’s a piece of Flashlight ” Art ”

This is too good to pass up. The lights are gorgeous and even if the price goes up, I’m in.

You should really enjoy it.

I think they’re Great…

Maybe time for OL to get a (small) lathe?

an investment, but it would pay back soon I believe.

I don't think the lathe would be as accurate

Seriously, these are works of art. Excellent work O-L!

That's true.. maybe a few on lathe, and few hand made then?

Looking forward to getting this beauty.
Thanks again.

Thanks O-L
