Correct, I don't do the 1D any more, or the AA/AAA lights, but this was just to show ideas on file work and in this case, a polished bezel and tail cap. Yes, I could do that style on a 2D.

Don’t be so down on yourself, man. It’s called R&D! You write it off as an expense against future profits, may there be many!

You won’t be disappointed…

I was able to get one of these O-L….
It is Very Bright with great mode control…

This the Brightness Mag Light I have ever seen…

And besides all that…… It’s a piece of Flashlight ” Art ”

Slow

This is too good to pass up. The lights are gorgeous and even if the price goes up, I’m in.

You should really enjoy it.

I think they’re Great…

Maybe time for OL to get a (small) lathe?

an investment, but it would pay back soon I believe.

I don't think the lathe would be as accurate

Seriously, these are works of art. Excellent work O-L!

That's true.. maybe a few on lathe, and few hand made then?

Looking forward to getting this beauty.
Thanks again.

Thanks O-L

It came it yesterday….
It is the new meaning of ” Beauty & Beast ”
Very bright, excellent mode control, and his finish work is second to none.
I am Very pleased with this purchase.

Regards

Those i nicee to bad i cant afford that

As a career machinist I have to chime in and say that the file work here is impeccable. These are cheap considering the labor involved.

Bump it…
For a good guy

Bumping not required, it’s stickied, it’ll stay at the top

But, being stickied doesn’t keep it at the top of the “news feed” (or whatever it’s called) on the front page. Bumping does at least bring it back to the top for a moment.

I want one of these lights, but I’ve got projects of my own that need money right now. :frowning: On a related note: OL, since you have messed around with the 3rd Gen Mag LED flashlights recently, is it possible you will start using them for your mods? I’m just wondering which is better for modding, the older style, or the newer? Please excuse me if you’ve already mentioned this somewhere.

I would recommend the regular led Maglite over the 3rd gen, for modding.

I am now the proud owner of a gorgeous OL modified Maglite! It looks fantastic, great craftsmanship and it’s a really nice light

Congratulations! One day, I will own one too!

Thank you! I’m sure you will be happy with yours.

Bump!! Tongue Out
