Ok, so what to do next?

So, I flashed a 105c driver with nlite to get a moonlight mode, and installed it in an old cheapo led host with old SSC P4 emitter. Moon mode only draws around 3mA, so one good 18650 should last more than month.

What else am I supposed to do now in this hobby?

Hold your station and report back in a month and then again when the light finally goes out.

oh, now I see that I have missed the plethora of fun activities emerging from this hobby! I will even build another moonlight flashlight and try to turn it on at the *exact*moment the first one dies out.

You know what you might really like? Have you tried off-time memory yet? It's really awesome. All you need is a 1uF cap and FW. JonnyC has a free version here that I haven't tried yet. Also, BLF member _the_ has developed a version that is very awesome. He may still be looking for people to test it out. Ask him if he needs any more testers if your interested. I reviewed one version of it here and absolutely loved it.

thanks, will try those out, once some more drivers and XMLs arrive, the driver I just fit was wrong dimensions for the lamp, so it’s a hack-fit and not easi to (dis/re)assemble.

Can we get time lapse pictures posted up. I'd say one picture every hour for the next month should cover it. That will ad an immense amount of interest and talking point here.

I took some time from my sleep last 2 days to get the SOIC clip and USBasp avr programmer running, and then figuring out how to flash the tiny13a. Next step is to get the atmel studio up so I can do my own code, once the time (wife) allows it. Seems the code is done in C, which is nice, I thought it would be some obscure proprietary language.
