I have had the Tank007 E07 for about two months. It is a very basic flashlight with some high quality features. It has a solid brass pill that dissipates heat very well. A glass lens. The body is water tight. There are many reviews about the Tank007 E07. I have not read them all. The ones I did read had no water proofing tests. The anodizing and knurling are done well.
In my tests the flashlight has a nice bright beam for about 30 minutes. Between 30-60 minutes the output dims to basically a moonlight mode. I tested the flashlight with three Ray O Vac alkaline batteries dated best by 2018. At two and half hour into the test I still had a output a person could almost read by. When I used first generation Sanyo Eneloops both batteries barely lasted a hour. I am sure if I used a new fourth generation Eneloop battery it would have had a much longer run time.
To test the flashlight’s water resistance. I submerged the flashlight in juice, ice tea, and colored cold water. I used a old mason jar for the test. The flashlight was immersed for almost a total of two hours in the various liquids. No sign of water inside the flashlight after the tests. If you drop the light in a puddle or use it in the rain you should have no problems.
I own almost a dozen single AA flashlights. Except for the Tank007 they all have multiple outputs. Some suffer from PWM, and some do not. The E07 does not suffer from PWM.
I am spoiled by my other lights. If I only owned the E07 at about thirty minutes into it’s run time I would always change or recharge the battery. When we still had our dog. I always need a bright flashlight for outings. Now we have a clan of Gerbils. These little ones like to run around. Are not fond of going home at times. I use my flashlights to look under beds, tables, and behind filing cabinets for them. So the E07 would need a fresh battery almost every day. I must point out all my other single AA flashlights have a very bright output for between 30-70 minutes. I really like having the option of lower modes so I do not bother my wife at night if I need to visit the bathroom. So if you need or want a single AA flashlight for occasional use. The Tank E07 is a good choice. It is well made, not flimsy. Waterproof, so it’s safe to use in the great outdoors. If you go camping once a year for a few days or just want a EDC flashlight. The Tank E07 fits the bill nicely. It can tail stand as a candle very well. Nice tint. Very much like sunlight. First and only flashlight I own with a Osram LED. Low price and high quality.

Thanks for the review, cool pictures! I like the pictures with the coloured water :-) I also like your collection of AA-sized flashlights, especially the Lumapower lm31, I have been eyeing that one: looks good and has a very good low.

Oh no it wasn't .
The BLF Special Edition was flawed in sooo many ways . Bad tint . Ringy beam . And the batteries which it was supposedly designed for did not fit . It was an early attempt at a special BLF light that did not end well . I ended up giving mine away to a member here .
That is the reason why it is so important to have sample lights of custom runs sent to various members to test before we all commit to a group buy .
