Yes, Iâve correct my post, was wrong, sorry
GB's web page for that battery carrier originally said it was parallel. They fixed that pretty quick. Unfortunately I don't think Youtube allows titles to be changed without reuploading the video. Since they fixed their title on their website, I think the Youtube title mistake is acceptable to leave up.
And yes, it should be series. It definitely looks like it's series, and the version sold by another vendor is series. It'd have to be series for it to work in the X3.
I am afraid it wonât fit in every 26650 lightâŚ
the diameter is 28 mm
That is true. The X3 rattles a little with a 26650, presumably because it's bored a little wider to fit the 3AA holder, which is a funny because the 3AA holder rattles a little too!
It donât will fit in a 26650 light because itâs more a D cell thickness which is around 32mm. The xintd has a inner diameter of around 31mm if I am correct.
A AA is 14mm so two next to each other are 28mm minimum, which is always more than 26mmâŚ
I am unsure if the length will be a direct exchange for a D Cell but I will order two if these are still available in ten days or so, because 3$ is a reasonable price for a ready build adapter of good quality and will come in handy former or later.
Perfect, will wait for your experience and evaluation
A D cell is about as wide as the outer diameter of the tailcap threads on the X3. The length of the carrier that came with the IOS version is close though, so you might be able to use it in a D/32650 light like the Lumintop SD10 or Maglites. I'm assuming the GB carrier is exactly the same, and now I have one ordered too.
Thanks Gearbest for sourcing the battery carrier, much needed and a good price too!
I was thinking the same thing. W/O looking up the dimensions of this carrier ur post basically confirmed my suspicions that it will run nicely as a 3aa D-sized serial cell carrier.
Thanks!
EDIT - Oops! should have read further down the thread. Apparently this carrier will be closer to C celled size.
That depends if you trust the specs. Remember that until yesterday it was listed as a parallel battery holder. More than likely it's exactly the same as the battery holder that comes with the X3 from IOS. That battery holder is 30mm in diameter, and the body is a little over 61mm long, and roughly 67mm long if the (used) spring is counted.
Ok, now Iâm really confused! :~
I have build one of these and you need 31-32mm inner diameter to fit it.
They might be made a little differently, could be 1 or 2 mm wider/narrower...
it sounds like its the same as the ones shipped with the X3 at IOS.
so if someone has one of those.. he could tell us the timensions?
I have one of IOS X3.
D:30.0mm L:61.4 (w/o spring)/~67.3mm (w/spring)
Thanks!
Was trying to order a couple more of the Cofly 2AA lightsâbut looks like they are out of stock ( button is greyed out, not orange)

Hi travis,
Thanks for your support
Yes, the Cofly 2AA lights is out of stock and out of production now, there is no supply for this lights any more
Any one interested in this Tank007 ES12 Super Mini Torch
Coupon: Tank007
price: $19.99
Looks to be a nice light. I just recently bought an Olight i3s Eos for my wife to carry. I like the style of this Tank007 ES12 as well, and the size really is great for carrying in a pocket (or purse). This light also has a higher lumens rating than the Olight. But the Olight comes with both a belt clip (or hat clip, since itâs reversible) and a key chain with a nice clip on the end. And both lights work with 10400 cells for better performance!
Now the Cofly KX-D010 2 x AAa light is showing on your site as âin stockâ??
( button is orange)
Did you find more of this âout-of-productionâ light, or is this a mistake?
