Very short review: E27 IR Infrared Motion Sensor 39 LED White Light Bulb

Eachbuyer.com asked for members to pick some of their products to review, and I made an offer. It's not what I expected. I was quite disappointed because I'd really like to try using a macro light ring.

This light bulb has a very cold tint. I'm not sure about the output, but I think it's slightly optimistic. It's not enough to read by if bouncing the light off of a ceiling, but should be enough to illuminate a closet well enough to pick out and put away clothing items. While the description says it's for 220V-240V, I only used it with 120V.

If the light is angled 90 degrees, it will sense me walking by from about 8 feet away. It might detect motion further away, but the room I tested it in is very small. Off axis sensitivity isn't nearly as strong.

There is pulse width modulation that I noticed while taking pictures.

That’s actually kind of funny. I wonder how many others got wrong items. You think maybe they were just trying to get reviews for odd products? I wonder if I can still put in a request? Damn, where would I start? Oh boy, I’m nervous just thinking that I’d have to do a review. I don’t know if I can’t compete with all of these other amazing reviews and their fancy equipment.

Go ahead and try putting in a request. I don't have time to do a full review on a product I don't care about, which is why I didn't request this, and why it gets a very short review. Maybe a short review like this is sufficient for their purposes. A good review doesn't need any special equipment. A cell phone camera can be enough. Even a basic camera might be used to pick up pulse width modulation. If you can describe what can't be gleaned from the specs, even without specialized tools, then your review is probably a good one.

That ring macro looked promising too. Especially for flashlight related reviews where you gotta take close pictures.
