TrustFire X6 SST-90 5-Mode 2300 Lumens LED Flashlight (3x18650)

Of course. I just got mine.

I placed my order last night.

and I did not get any email or whatsoever.

So I emailed Ric.

Got a mail back that he was going to send it via dhl in 2 days ??? Why waiting 2 days ?

Hes waiting for new stock or he is buildingSmile the light

Ric always gets back to me via email but it can take 3-4 working days.

Hey 2100....What did you buy @Ric ?

Just curious....

regards,

Stefaan

I got 2 drivers for the DRY, another DRY triple XM-L CW so now I have all the 3 colours (LOL!), some Sanyo 18650s and the On The Road X5. Thought it'd be good to have another XM-L thrower to play around, other than the existing Fandyfire STL-V6. The X5 has a wee bit smaller reflector though. Will be collecting the DHL package in about 3 hours!

Well now I won't be getting it anymore because you'll have already beaten me to it and I won't feel special, haha!

But since I already planned on purchasing another light in its place I can just wait for your review and see if it's worth making the additional purchase :)

I have been ordering the flashlight since more than 3 days, and it was not yet sent to me...

it takes a long time for the package being sent.

And I'm at home till friday. From friday on, and next week, no one is at home...so I hope that package arrives before friday.

I have contacted Ric.

and there is something wrong with the switch.

It needs to be replaced.

And the company from which he is buying thse torches is closed till 24th og this month.

So I will have to wait....

Hi guys,

I received my trustfire X6 SST-90 flashlight today from Hong Kong.

It was quickly in Belgium....very fast service.

However...both of the glasses of the flashlight are broken.

Here is a picture

The glasses are 74 mm diameter and 3 mm thick...

I have asked Ric if he can send me 2 new replacement glasses...

I'm sorry to see this.

Package slammed by postal workers? Carelessness ?

Yes it is a pity.

The package just arrived here and actually I'm lucky as it is the only thing that is broken en I'm sure it will be replaced.

If the company of Ric has a good service, I'm sure he will send me 2 new glasses in a protected envelop.

I hope he does.

Guys,

I have to tell you : Ric is a good guy you know.

He already sent me an email saying that the 2 glasses will be replaced soon.

I like his service.

Therefore I'm sure I will order things from him again in the future. He is TOP !!

How come it's broken? Well sending flashlights in bubble pack in an envelope is standard for budget lights. But you mean the lens that is in the flashlight is also broken? That is one mean by the post office drop man! From your picture the lens is chipped at the side so that seems like side impact and not frontal impact. I assume he sent a spare lens since there is an extra in the package.

Actually you still can use the left side one, till you receive the new ones. Enjoy! :)

I also shattered my glass lens for the Ultrafire U80. Got my replacement here.

Only the glasses are broken. The flashlight itself is ok. It seems to work fine.

BOTH of the glasses are broken. The one which was on the lamp was more broken.

The other spare one is broken too...it must have an unsafe travel.

Ric will send me 2 glasses...as the one on the torch was broken and the spare one is broken too.

So he will send 2 of them.

Wow..pretty hard knock.

thanks for the info.

My lens is 74 mm diameter en 3 mm think....difficult to find I think?

They sell a 73MM here :

Here's a 75MM aspheric:

Could I put on my x6 sst-90 what would the beam do

The beam would look really funky. Even if you managed to mod it to fit, you need the correct focal lens so that it doesn't focus when it is too far from the emitter, plus also adjustable focus to fine tune. Aspherics cannot work with reflectors, not that you'd want it to be that way anyway....

If you really want to spend on a AR lens, the UCL is nice and not too expensive. More for looks, your 74mm big reflector would really be nice.
