Eneloops scam-free? My source: Eneloop Sales: SALES CLOSED!! February 2015
Definitely the best source for a great number of us when it comes to Eneloops. I have bought from ChibiM now 3 times and would not hesitate in the future. His prices are always cheaper than I can find locally in our little republic of Canuckistan and you know your getting the newest generation compared to a number of places around here still selling old gen2 stock.
As for DXās listingsā¦ well after that last Samsung fake 3200mah battery adventure I wouldnāt trust them or touch them with a ten foot pole. All the pics/info was for the correct/legit batteries and what people got (or have yet to receive in my case) was anything butā¦.
EZARCā¦
Hereās a good place to get Eneloops from (I donāt know if this helps you or not):
I learned about this shop here on BLF, and they come well recommended. I bought some Eneloops from them (Tropical as theyāre European market only) and had no problems at all.
New Panasonic eneloops made in China.
āChocolat Coloursā (not sure why it doesnāt have E on the end of chocolate) enloops being sold in retail stores in Australia.
I bought these for $14.95 with free delivery and they come with a $10 voucher to spend on my next purchase.
itās chocolat, as in french for chocolate
I see, well at least the spelled colours right
They look the same as the previous chocolat tones.
and thats an awesome price you paid there...
edit: these are the earlier ones HR-3UTGB
and the following are the new ones..
they are different... the older ones had 8 unique colors, while the new ones, have only 4.
BK-3MCCE
Iām glad youāre still updating this thread. I only ever read stuff that comes across the front page news. So, I would have missed this entirely. Great collection of information you have going here, ChibiM! Thanks for all your efforts in putting this together and keeping it up-to-date!
not really up to date.. ;)
since they produce some eneloops in China, I haven`t updated the thread.. as it has been a little confusing.. because they used the same codes, like BK-3MCC, but with the added E or A.. and I have no idea what they stand for..
so up till now its focused on Japan made only.
I asked panasonic through email, but they havent replied.. dont think they will ever do..either...
BTW; if Im going to update the first few posts with the newer Chinese made cells, HOW should I do that?
Make a separate list/table?
I donāt think a whole separate list for the Chinese cells, just a separate entry for them in the existing list and table. Or do you think it really would be too confusing? The added E or A might be codes for the factory they are made in. That should be enough to differentiate them in the list, Iād think.
the A is used in Asia, but also in the US.. and the China made ones use it, as well as the Japan made one
Ah, I see! 8)

Hi do Eneloop do a
D cell rechargeable yet?
Yes, already since 2007.
They are supposedly just 3AA std eneloop batteries in a D wrapper.
I see can I just use 3 eneloops in an appropriate adapter?
For good D cells look at:
Tenergy Centura
Powerex Imedion
And yes, eneloops in a adapter will work as well.
I have found an adapter that takes 2 AA but not 3 can anyone pass on a link for a uk or other supplier? Please thanks for the replysā¦
Thanks for the links Kloppholz, can anyone tell me where i can get some AA Eneloops in the UK?
