The coupon code for the gray version does not work now, because the one we got yesterday is a sample for testing, not the batch supply, it will be available for ordering in a few days, I will update on this thread. I’m really sorry for this inconvenience
Mine arrived - happy days, batteries on charge, soldering iron warming up!
Just gonna do that tailcap wire today, so I can have some fun with it before I break it, sorry mod it lol!
The tracking info for mine was just updated today to show that it arrived in NY city at 9:42 PM two days ago! I guess I should have it soon, maybe even today. Sure wish the tracking could keep up with it. Yesterday, it still said Origin Post was preparing the shipment, although apparently, it had hit New York the night before! I’m so ready to just have this light in my hands!
Hehe it’s in mine! done the thick wire in tailcap quickie for now - will do the copper strips at the weekend maybe.
As for tracking/insurance, I couldn’t seem to add it before paying (paypal), I saw the option directly after but had already paid. So mine was untracked anyway as it turns out.
Very impressed so far, but sadly can’t compare it to my STL-V6 as it’s broken. The only thing it lacks is a lanyard hole - I can’t help think it’s gona get dropped or slip from my hand.
Hope you get yours soon!
Hi guys, out of interest what batteries are you using/planning to use in your Courui’s? I have some Trustfire flame 3000mAh ones I got from Tmart which seem fine so far.
Do the Panasonic (NCR18650b) ones fit, I read they are slightly thicker? The trustfires are 18.48mm and the Panasonic’s are 18.73mm (or so I read) - there isn’t masses of free space around the Trustfires, hence me wondering if the thicker ones will fit ok, as I plan to get some next month.
Length isn’t a problem as the trustfires are the same.
It's a parallel setup, so no need to use protected, although protected seem to always be button top. Ideal cell is an unprotected button top, like these: fasttech.com-pana-ncr18650b-3400mah or these are real nice for ultimate low resistance if you crank up the amps: mtnelectronics.com-Efest 35A bt.

Dear My Friend,
Well, yesterday the factory said…‘4 to 5 days more’. Seems their ‘accuracy’s a bit off twice already so Dora and I decided to instead observe for ’a bird in hand’ policy….than to keep on announcing… but since you asked… haha. So in the meantime, sit back and have a
At last I’ve got mine!
Sent 29th September by NL Post, arrived Today 20th October…
I’ve paid extra money for tracking…for what? I don’t know.
All the time tracking haven’t worked :~
Nl Post is without Tracking….from Bangood it takes 7-10 days but from Gearbest it takes forever. I once got a order with Belgium post from GB which was super fast but it seems they don’t offer this anymore…
Which country do you live in?
Just received the light from this GB, this is the worst condition I’ve ever received a reflector in, there is a huge scratched spot (not a single scratch, a bad SPOT) where it looks like some sort of machine / tool picked the reflector up by the shiny part, the lens is really bad, doubt it can be gotten clear and the lens o-ring is busted.
GEarBestCS are you reading this thread or do I need to PM / email you? This light is NOT acceptable.
Edit: just put batteries in it, is there possible supposed to be 3 modes? I ask cause first press does nothing at all, it goes:
First press = nothing
second press = high
third press = low
forth press = off then it repeats, from off you have to do 2 clicks to get it to come back on in high next time around.
hold at any time for strobe, click to exit strobe
Edit 2: I did get 91kCd measured 100% stock (didnt even replaced the tail wire yet), that is decent! Even still, this light is not acceptable as-is.
