The 26650 Thread

What about these.

6 x T6

MarsFire 088 Cree T6 4500-Lumen 5-Mode 6-LED Flashlight - Black (3*26650)

MarsFire B Cree T6 5000-Lumen 5-Mode 7-LED Flashlight - Black (3*26650/2*26650)

UniqueFire mx900 (shadow clone, looks like much thinner body tube), with 2 cells and charger <$30

Price looks too good to be true, doesn't it? (This coming from a guy that bit on the SkyRay + Charger + 4 batteries Chinese Coin for $23 :p )

Comes with some good warnings, though:

Features:

Bulb: CREE MX900 CREE T6 LED with a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours.
Waterproof. Don't drop it into water for long time since it is not designed for diving.
Super Bright, Blinding Effect.

Switch Location: Press tail-cap button on/off
Max Output: 2800 Lumens. :D ;)
Power: 2 x 26650 battery.

CAUTION: DO NOT LOOK TOWARDS THE LIGHT DIRECTLY. IT MIGHT CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR EYES.

yes, it would see tgtbt

but might be a price mistake - they have other listings for just the torch and the combo and the price is higher

i just paid

Good luck on you. I'm tempted, but I want the 1x or 2x option in a light. For spousal harmony, I have to maintain the illusion that I buy flashlights for cycling.... ;)

kind of regretting it, I don't like 2 cell (long) lights much anyway

i'll probably sell it

This came today from DX.. I think it took over a month. Anyway, first glance, I am big time happy with it. I think it is the JM05 clone..Got it at DX for $25.10. Out of the box, I took it down a little, wiped the threads, looked inside, slide in a Keygos 26650, and oh boy..

Right about then my Keygos M10 got jealous, so I pulled that off a bike and put these two together. I did a wall shot with both of them, and the little bugger looks like it is brighter and throws a tighter beam than the M10. It is a handsome light too. Raining, will get to play with it sometime on the weekend..

Here it is along side my M10

Just an FYI:

I almost pulled the trigger on this light on eBay, which is incorrectly advertised with 26650 in the title. The 30mm measurement of the tailcap caught my eye and I contacted the seller, who has just confirmed by email that the light listed will NOT fit 26650 cells. He promises to correct the title in the next 24 hours.

So this one is better than the M10, but I suppose the HD2010 still rules over this one?

UniqueFire UF-2200 Cree XM-L U2 LED 5-Mode Memory Flashlight - Black (18650/26650)

$23.47

UniqueFire UF-2200 Cree XM-L U2 LED 5-Mode Memory Flashlight - Gray (18650/26650)

$23.47

Nice one

Nice Ptheir would be even sweeter if they where 3 mode no flashy or s.o.s modes.

Too good to be true, I know, but after IM chatting with the seller and negotiating one without any logo or branding on it at all (and no batteries or charger - I didn't want them), I'm gambling that I'll either get what I paid for or my $ back from AliExpress escrow service...

mis-branded SkyRay 856 (sold here as a UniqueFire) for $34 shipped (apparently with 2*18650 cells and a charger too):

http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm/557482596-3T6-Flashlight-5-Mode-3800-Lumens-3-CREE-XM-L-XML-T6-LED-Flashlight-2-18650-wholesalers.html

and

I ordered one from the first link on May 9 and it still hasn't shipped yet.

Buyer beVERYware.

powerwholesale.net has it for $34 also, but shipping to US is $15, putting them near the same price as everyone else.

Another AliExpress seller with a better rep has begun offering the same light, SkyRay branded, no charger or cells, for $48 since I ordered this one, but if the first deal falls through and I still want one, I might as well just go with a more well known store. I'm hoping someone releases a 5000K neutral white version of this light. To me, it looks like a two-cell version of the 3*XML HD2010 lights, what with it's 66mm diameter bezel and 26650 sized battery tube.

Received this light today. New thread started here.

New-261
2x26650

Hello
I have bought the new 261. Is there a review of this light somewhere ?
Is it possible to make the light shorter ? since it has 22cm which is too big for the bicycle use.
thanks for the answers

“UltraFire Ceee XML-T6 5-Mode 1000lm Waterproof 18650 / 26650 LED Flashlight”
$13.94 from GearBest, was a deal alert at about $10.

Output is similar to my slightly more expensive TangsFire C8, but longer run time on 26650s. Similar quality, maybe a bit better designed.
Includes adapter also for 3xAAA (too bad not 3xAA). The modes are not wide enough spaced for my taste.
Added: The sections unscrew from each other to provide access. Solid pill integral with the head.

For Fritz (and everybody else): renewed code for the UF light discount price

it’s worth it

Too old a thread as the links are mostly obsolete and the number of 26650 lights has expanded a lot, now including RMM modified ones. So far I have two, the TrustFire TR-S700 monster light and the SupFire L5 as modified by RMM. The TrustFire is a physically huge light and seems to be one of the few Chinese budget lights with reasonably accurate factory Lumens output listing. Two different people on BLF have measured it as right around 3600 Lumens maximum. An impressive chunk of aluminum. Outside the usual budget price too unfortunately.
