Done.

One thing, I chose AA only, not because it is cheap or because I do not want 14500 compatibility, but because that makes it possible to make a nice current controlled modes driver. Drivers that are (also) 14500 compatible (with modes still working) always have PWM controlled modes.

(with the only little understanding that I have of drivers).

I noticed near the bottom under misc options you have “square threads” listed twice.

Filled it out

Done. One thing extra I mentioned is that it would be sweet to have this:

tighten the head to go to turbo,
loose the head for moon,
then no memory needed, and we can have moon or turbo. Just like what fenix LD20 has.

Thanks for the nice form, MK! We sure can use this for lots of things in the future.

I like them "purdy colors" you got there on that there flashlight!

I think I prefer electronic sideswitches. They allow more sophisticated UIs. Something like:

Click and hold from off: moonlight
Short press from off: turn-on in last mode used
Click and hold from on: cycle modes up
Click and hold from on again after previosly cycling modes up: cycle modes down.
Double-click (from on or off): shortcut to max power
Single click from on after light has been on at least 3/4 of a second: turn off

Thanks for pointing out  I’m new to this stuff. I don’t know if it will affect something. So, I’ll leave it :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s ok. The least I could do!

“Purdy colors (ano.)”

pretty colors (anodization) aka. anything other than normal black or grey.

better than my form, thanks.

The options create a selection bias making the results largely useless, but nice try.

Thanks for your insight. I wish to point out I have no statistics background or ‘bias free’ form creation skills. I used responses already put forward by people and added some stuffs I think people might be interested in.
If it is slightly useful, then it served its goal. Else, all good its the intention that counts
