Does that mean that the Four Sevens version is vanishing too? I run mine on Energizer Ultimate Lithiums but suspect that the light was not enough of a success due to people trying to run it on AAA alkaline batteries which just do not have the current capability to run it at maximum. The light curve in the original review of it indicated that operation with alkaline batteries was not very good. The light curve on maximum was a line almost straight down. IIRC the original review was of the Four Sevens version of it but the listed specs were identical.
This flashlight stuff is really tempting, right OL, you just couldn’t stay away, had to do another GB

Well, it's not all that tempting, but I really love the penlights
and that one is a real nice one, especially for the price. I can't hardly say no and Dora has such control over me.

It’s too bad these didn’t come with a high-CRI neutral or warm white emitter. That was the main reason I didn’t buy any already. I wanted to give one to my doctor, but the cool white tint wouldn’t be very useful to him. It looks like Olight got everything else about these “just right”.
I'm in for a blue.

Maybe a minor consideration for most people but the Olight O’pen is one of the few penlights which actually looks like a pen when in the pocket. With the tapered reflector and LED end it still does so at a glance when held in the hand too. Wish Olight had offered it as a set with a identical top 75% of the length appearing ballpoint or roller ball style pen and possibly a mechanical pencil. Someone should offer such a set IMO.
Unfortunately, I’m not interested in this GB, but I definitely like your approach much more than all the secret PMs. I know up front whether to bother or not and you don’t have to deal with a million PMs.

Well, I was gonna get one of these, but a couple things happened that kinda makes it poor timing for me. I thought about giving one to my daughter, but my wife just bought her a cheapie flashlight/laser pointer/stylus that is blue and looks a little similar to this, so it would be almost redundant. I also thought I wanted it myself, but now the BLF Edition Eagle Eye X6 GB is taking off, so I’m out on getting it for me. My wife said I could get one for her, until she heard about the expected price. I have no-one else at my household to buy one for. 
Bottom line: Sorry, OL, I’m gonna have to withdraw. :( :( :_( .
