No indication on the Four Sevens web site that their version is going out of production but it is currently listed as a $60 light. I personally prefer the price being discussed here a lot better. FastTech lists the Olights as sold out.
Good high output pen lights do not seem to stay in production long though. I note that the Olight offered here, which I have and want additional copies of, is going and the Fenix LD05, which I also have, is already long gone. I prefer the aesthetics, size and weight of the Olight to the Fenix. Do people have a difficulty with paying a premium price for a good AAA pen light?
Gee is that possibly an indication that I like unpopular lights? Maybe as I also have the TK50 and TK60 Fenix lights, both gone now. The world apparently considers D battery lights to be dinosaurs. For a medium output light like the TK50 and TK60 though I love the run time available from D batteries.
